Yu Gi Oh The Power Of Four (Fanfic)
Four duelists in one epic duel.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Power of Four is a crossover fanfic written by GamingGuy84 on FanFiction.Net. It is an alternative telling of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, and it also serves as a sequel to Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL (and the manga), and Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, and an interquel to Yu-Gi-Oh!, taking place between the King's Memories and Ceremonial Duel arcs.

In this story, much like in ARC-V, Leo Akaba sets his plans into motion to capture Yuzu and her counterparts to revive his daughter Ray, harming other innocent lives in the process, as he sends Yuri to capture Rin, Ruri, and Yuzu, while he orders the Academia staff to guard Serena. But unbeknownst to him, a group of powerful duelists decides to intervene, consisting of none other than the protagonists: Yuma Tsukumo (ZEXAL), Yusei Fudo (5D's), and Judai Yuki (GX), led by the original protagonist, Yugi Muto/Yami Yugi (Atem), as their mission is to not only save Ray's fragments, but also the boys (Yuya Sakaki, Yuto, and Yugo, except Yuri), who are the fragments of the malevolent duelist, Zarc.

The Power of Four is notable for being the most fan-favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic stories for being 46 chapters (and a total of 364,661 words) in length and having, as of this update (August 10, 2020), 512 reviews, 618 favorite-listings by other authors, and 441 follows by said authors. The cast consist all of the major cast in every series, as well of its story using dueling in the plot similar to the anime while giving new cards whether real or fanmade.

A sequel story titled Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Hope of Six was also created with the addition of the cast from Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS, and it is still ongoing as of 2025.

  • Obfuscating Stupidity & Obfuscating Insanity: Judai; when he is in Duel Academia in ARC-V, everyone saw Judai as hopeless novice, slacker, laidback, and basically an outsider, to the point even Serena, a high-level student duelist see him as this, but they were shocked and speechless when he punched older students and kicked Sander, a higher ranking abusive Instructor, in the groin in order to save Alex, a newbie student while helping him escape, as his actions got the attention of Leo Akaba, who expressed disappointment as Judai not only a slacker, but a troublemaker, which Judai made even more outrageous act by he spitting on Leo in the face.
