Super Smash Bros. Brawl Oneshots are a series of one-shots written by Soundwave 0107 about all the characters of the well-known Super Smash Bros. Nintendo franchise. The one-shots are all connected and take place at the Smash Mansion, usually showing all the insane events that happen around there. All of the playable characters are featured along with others and even characters that don't exist within the universe. Some friendships and relationships even form and are written very well and the Brawls that the characters participate in are even shown.
Though the one-shots mostly focus on comedy, there are some chapters that contain serious moments and even Tearjerker moments as well. There are a total of 183 chapters, but don't let the amount of chapters intimidate you. Every one-shot is definitely worth the read.

Ascended Fanon: Bowser Jr's appearance in the oneshots can be considered this, as he appears in SSB4 and not SSBB. - Big Eater: Kirby, of course. Though he does get tired when others think he only wants to eat.
- Berserk Button: Do NOT leave a mess around the mansion. Peach WILL find you and she will make you pay.
- Broken Bird: Samus. Meta Ridley killed her family and was almost close to killing her. Things even got worse after that when a talk with Meta Knight caused her dark persona of being a cold and merciless bounty hunter to clash with her happier one. This battle in her mind goes so far, it drives her insane and the darkness within her nearly takes over..
- Butt-Monkey: Snake. Pretty much every time he appears, he gets injured in a very gruesome (yet very amusing) way. Various characters lampshade this.
- Fluffy the Terrible: Zelda finds a new pet which turns out to be none other than Armogohma, a giant spider boss from Twilight Princess. What does she name it? Seymour.
- Heel–Face Turn: Meta Ridley of all people decides to be a good guy and even joins the Smashers.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Bowser. Despite Mario being his "enemy", he also thinks of Mario and Luigi as his friends. In fact, he battles his demon persona in his story arc because he doesn't want to harm anyone or do anything truly evil.
- Ganondorf is this as well, even cheering up Toon Link at one point.
- Mama Bear: Samus is very protective over Pikachu and Lucas, even considering the latter as her son.
- Zelda is also willing to kick anyone's ass if they hurt Toon Link's feelings.
- Mistaken for Gay: Some of the characters thought Marth was gay until they meet his girlfriend, Shiida/Caeda.
- Neat Freak: Princess Peach. Quite often in her appearances in the fic, she's either cleaning or threatening bodily harm with her cleaning implements.
- Running Gag: There are quite a few and some are even lampshaded.
- Zelda's obsession with the Landmaster tank.
- Snake getting badly injured.
- Meta Ridley and Shadow arguing (or fighting to the death) about Starfire or Terra being better.
- Link and Zelda having a romantic moment, only to be interrupted by someone and Link getting attacked by Seymour.
Zelda: I hate this running gag.
Link: Me too— AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!
Zelda: Seymour! Bad spider! Let his head go! NO! You're not supposed to pull out intestines!
Link: I HATE THIS RUNNING GAG TOO! - Sick Episode: Chapter 99: "Toony is a bit Sick'". Toon Link has a fever and Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf spend the day taking care of him.
- Tomboy and Girly Girl: Samus is the tomboy while Peach and Zelda are the girly girls.
