- Anti-Hero Team: Wouldn't be a proper Slender Man Mythos crossover without it.
- Arc Villain: Patrick Andersen would seem to count as this.

- The events happening between Chapters nine and eleven are nothing but this trope. "The Team gets badass weapons and gets to talk to their inner demons! Oh wait, they have a Cute Kitten now! Such dorks... Wait, What's Patrick of all people doing here?"
- And then we have the huge Mood Whiplash that is Chapters 13-14 and 15, AKA Evan gets high in coffee (Oobleck's coffee, to be exact) and Hilarity Ensues... Just for Patrick to remind us that he's still in the fic just afterwards.

author even describes the story as "A crack fic taken completely seriously". - Badass in Distress: Evan in Chapter 16. It doesn't last long.
