Classroom of the Elite: The 100 Elites Who Really, Really, Really Love Him (Fanfic)
Now with 100 times the romance!

Classroom of the Elite: The 100 Elites Who Really, Really, Really Love Him is a Classroom of the Elite Alternate Universe Fic written by legal_in_my_books formerly on Wattpad but now in FanFiction.Net.

In a premise similar to The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You, Ayanokouji Kiyotaka learns from "God" that he's fated to have 100 soulmates in a month and a few weeks before attending the Advanced Nurturing High School. While he's completely disinterested at first, he also believes that this may help him learn the concept and feeling of "love". Can Ayanokouji juggle his multiple relationships and find happiness and freedom, or will he fail and doom his heroines?

The same author also wrote a "Let's Watch Our Show" Plot spinoff fic (and for some tidbits of their other fic, Dissociative Identity Ayanokouji) called, COTE Reaction: The 100 Elites Who Really, Really, Really Love Him.

On January 22, 2025, however, the fic is taken down from Wattpad due to copyright infringement. For the time being, the author transferred the fic onto Discord. By January 26, 2025, the fic officially returns, but on Fanfiction.net and Ao3.

Note: Some SPOILERS are marked!!!

Classroom of the Elite: The 100 Elites Who Really, Really, Really Love Him (and its reaction spinoff) has the following tropes:

  • Adaptation Expansion: The fic expands more on the characters' backstories and motivations in the present time.
  • Adaptational Friendship: In the canon novels, Kiyotaka and Eiichirō are complete strangers with neither knowing the other personally unless it's through a third party (i.e., Matsuro). In the fic, they are good friends upon meeting each other during the year when the White Room was temporarily shut down. Tsubasa even lampshades their friendship in the reaction spinoff.
  • Adaptational Sympathy: Manabe Shiho and her friends are portrayed in a much more sympathetic light compared to the canon story. Aside from being oppressed by Ryuen in Class C, Shiho and her friends are a tight-knit group who care for one another, and their animosity towards Karuizawa Kei is justified by the latter's deliberate shoving of Rika in the fic.
  • Alternate Universe Fic: The premise of the fic involves Kiyotaka's fate to gain 100 soulmates as he attends ANHS.
  • Balanced Harem: Kiyotaka has multiple girls for soulmates, most notably Suzune, Kikyo, Honami, etc. All the girls get screentime with Kiyotaka, and he actively tries to get close to them, even if one of his motivations is manipulating and using them.
  • Big "NO!": In Suzune's narration after the Love at First Sight with Kiyotaka, she mentally shouted a big "NO!!!" regarding her usual lack of interest in romance due to her goals.
  • Chick Magnet: Double Subverted. Kiyotaka is considered a reasonably good-looking boy, but he is so passive and unassuming that most girls overlook him. But as he bonds with his current and potential soulmates and spends more time with them, plenty of girls start to take notice of him, along with his capabilities.
  • First Friend:
    • For Kiyotaka, Eiichirō serves as his first friend.
    • Kiyotaka also serves as the first friend to the haughty and aloof Horikita Suzune.
  • First Love:
    • Kiyotaka is the first love of many of his soulmates.
    • For Kiyotaka, Suzune is his first soulmate.
  • Harem Genre: Like the manga, The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You, this fic has Kiyotaka gaining 100 soulmates as he navigates through his high school life.
  • Love at First Sight: Exaggerated and Played for Laughs. Given that the premise is similar to a certain manga involving 100 girlfriends, they'll feel an electric shock whenever Kiyotaka makes eye contact with a potential soulmate.
  • Mistaken for Romance: Played With. Many of Kiyotaka's classmates and peers mistakenly think that he's dating one or more of the girls he hangs with because he is the only guy. The truth is that the girls are either Kiyotaka's soulmates or potential soulmates, and they usually keep their feelings to themselves.
  • Odd Friendship: Granted, any friendship Kiyotaka would have with another person would be odd due to his limited social skills, stoic behavior, and lack of real-world experience. But he does get along with the sociable, extroverted, and anime buff Eiichirō. By the time Eiichirō sees Kiyotaka off to ANHS, he has given him his favorite keychain of his favorite waifu, Nakano Nino, for safekeeping (which is something that he wouldn't trust Tsubasa to hold even if she asked) until then.
  • O.C. Stand-in: Plenty of characters who are either Recurring Extras, Flat Characters, Satellite Characters, The Ghost, or He Who Must Not Be Seen in the canon story are given more of a role and personality in the fic.
  • Otaku Surrogate: Yamashita Saki is a big fan of anime and manga.
  • Promoted to Love Interest: Unlike the canon story, Kei isn't the only Love Interest for Kiyotaka, as potentially nearly all of the female cast are joining in along with some Original Characters.
  • Real Men Cook: Kiyotaka tends to cook meals on his own time, which his soulmates love to eat as well.
  • Training from Hell: Kiyotaka's upbringing in the White Room involves strenuous physical activity and martial arts training to the point where he could match grown adults hand-to-hand. In the prologue of the fic, Kiyotaka is shown doing his morning exercise routine consisting of "100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 50 bench presses with varying weights, and a 10-km run on the treadmill" for two hours with some breaks in between sessions.
  • What Is This Feeling?: Many of Kiyotaka's soulmates ponder on their newfound infatuation with Kiyotaka after their own Love at First Sight with him.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: To Rikito Nakamura's The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You.
