Civil War Aftermath is the name of a community Roleplay located on Tes Alliance (Due to the OOC thread being shut down on Bethesda, everyone blames the Yuri), specifically about the Aftermath of the Civil War, which was one of the main plot points in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the fifth of The Elder Scrolls series. It's currently on its third chapter. It's known for its highly amusing OOC threads and great characters. There's three GM's, Bigbossbalrog (a Yuri fanboy), Colonelkillabee (a Stormcloak fanboy), and The Good Doctor (the most sane of the three).

  • Other characters (may be important NPC'S or minor playable characters):
    • High-King Ulfric Stormcloak.
    • Tribune Angelos, is killed at the end of chapter 1.
    • Emperor Amaund Moitre.
    • Jarl Balgruaf of Whiterun.
    • Elan, Dales maid and "Snuggle buddy" Is killed by a Dominion assassin.
    • Miku, Another one of Dales maid. Very... liberal in her sexual interactions. Is killed in chapter 3 .
    • Raine, One of Dales' maida. Is very envious of others.
    • Kogami, One of Dales' maids. Has kinky interests.

  • Affably Evil: Tyrian is very polite, prefers to talk before engaging in acts of torture. Heck, he offered a glass of water to someone he was interrogating. However, he is the Grand-Overseer of the Aldmeri dominion. Samuel switches between this and Faux Affably Evil.
  • Anti-Hero: Quite a few, Witchie is type 5, Baldur is between type 3-4 occasionally veering into both, Lorgar is a solid type 3, until half way through chapter 3, he becomes a type IV Anti-Villain.
  • Animal Motifs: Lorgar's are wolves.
  • The Archer: Lorgar is an excellent shot with the bow, and uses a Ebony Greatbow as his primary weapon in chapter 2. Though he uses it rarely, Lucienus's signature weapon is an enchanted black longnbow, passed down from his father.
  • Badass Normal: Rebec, Baldur, Boldir, Marius, Edaurd, and Tullius. (Borderlines Memetic in-universe)
  • Badass Cape: Lorgar has a officer cape. He replaces it with a black one between the first and second chapter. Baldur gets one in-between Chapter 1 and 2. Marius wears a red officer cape, and dyes it blue when he defects to the Stormcloaks Both Gracchus and Tullius have one.
  • Badass Long Coat: Lorgar wears a black one in Chapter 2 and 3, as part of his new outfit. Lucienus, Lorgar's second in command, also wears one. All of Lorgar's mercenaries, the Blood Wolves, wear longcoats.
  • Bi the Way: Many characters. All of Dales maid are bi, frequently sleeping with Dales and Witchie. Lilly, the imperial spymaster, spends her nights sleeping with noblemen, but also shows attraction to females, such as when she has sex with a fellow coven member. Milly, Lorgar's wife, though not shown, is said to be very flirty with other females, and likes them just as much as men.
  • Canis Major: Lorgar's true lycantropy form is a massive black werewolf
  • Colonel Badass: Legate is equivalent to the rank of Colonel, so Lorgar counts, Until he's stripped from the rank in-between chapter 1 and 2. Later adopts the rank of "Colonel" when he forms his own mercenary unit.
  • Darker and Edgier: Individual characters and events that where in the game, are portrayed much darker. Such as the siege of Whiterun, which ended in a mass looting and rape spree in the city.
  • Driven To Sucide: Lorgar goes on the verge of despair and contemplates doing this, He dosen't go through with it.
  • Coldblooded Torture: Baldur and Witchie do this to Lorgar to get the location of the imperial camp
  • Dirty Old Man: Tullius goes to brothels, harrases a maid when drunk, and is described as a "Perverted Old man". Lorgar (He's 55, but looks much younger (late 30's due to his "condition") reads romance novels (some of them dirty), thinks Girl-on-Girl Is Hot (really hot, being a Yuri Fan).
  • The Determinator: Most characters are this, but Lorgar takes it Up to Eleven. He never gives up.
  • Jerkass: Most characters are this to an extent, varying in levels depending on the character.
  • Four-Star Badass: General Marius Imperius of the Imperial Legion, along with High-General Tullius. Baldur becomes this in chapter 2. Though technically not a general, when he joins the Stormcloaks, Marius is still referred to as one. Gracchus becomes a Lord-general in chapter 3.
  • Good Is Not Nice: Baldur does some pretty horrific stuff in chapter 1 and 2. But is on the side of "right". Lorgar is usually this.
  • Hotter and Sexier: Chapter 1 was mainly focused on the war, while chapter 2 has... very suggestive posts and interactions. Chapter 3 is continuing the trend.
  • Knife Nut: Dales really loves knives.
  • Last Stand: Reval and Angelos pull this trope off before being overwhelmed and killed by arrow fire.
  • Lip Stick Lesbian:
    • Princess Dales Moitre likes girls and acts like a Girly Girl, loving frilly clothing and cuddling.
    • Her maid, Elan, could also be considered this.
  • Names to Run Away from Really Fast: Most of the Nordic surnames are intimidating; Red-Snow, Grim-maw etc.
  • One-Man Army: Lorgar and Do'jhul are the stand out examples. When Lorgar breaks out of Falkreath prison, he slays over twenty guards. In solitude, he briefly engages the entire solitude Guard force in his werewolf form, and goes on a rampage.
  • Sliding Scale of Idealism vs. Cynicism: This RP is FAR on the cynical side, portraying War as a brutal, and physiologically scarring matter. Though it still goes out of it way to show that there's good people on both sides of the conflict.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Dales Moitre went from a ditzy Imperial Princess, to a ditzy Imperial Princess that can cut down a highly trained dominion assassin in seconds, and able to hold her own against Witchie in a practice match.
  • Savage Wolves: Logar the wolf loves killing.
  • Sociopathic Hero: Lorgar greatly enjoys killing. The real example, however, is Brund.
  • Summon Magic: Witchie can summon something akin to a "Frost Werewolf" from Hircine's hunting grounds.
  • Took a Level in Badass: Dales Moitre went from a ditzy Imperial Princess, to a ditzy Imperial Princess that can cut down a highly trained dominion assassin in seconds, and able to hold her own against Witchie in a practice match.
  • Yuri Fan: Lorgar's favorite genre of novels is girl love, which results in many awkward situations.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Lorgar, Tullius, and Marius are rude, aggressive, and very insulting to each other, and are huge jackasses to each other. Yet they would go extraordinary lengths to help each other, and try to keep in contact with one another.

How well does it match the trope?
