Bakugo vs Everyone

Go To

Katsuki prided himself on being the best of the best. The future number one hero. A hero greater than All Might, viewing everyone around him as worthless pebbles in his path, especially Deku. However, beings across the multiverse tend to disagree when confronted with him.

Bakugou Vs Everyone is a massive crossover fic with My Hero Academia and various franchises, currently standing at 10, made by Gandalf42. A coalition of one-shot fics that show Bakugou that he is not the big fish he believes himself to be.

The fic can be found here.

Bakugou Vs Everyone contains the following tropes

  • Accusation Fic: It’s made abundantly clear that the author utterly despises Bakugou, as Gandalf’s works typically feature him dying in new and creative ways. This fanfiction is an anthology of all the ways he fucks around and finds out.
  • Adaptational Villainy: While in canon, Bakugou is far from a nice guy, even he would never stoop to the lows that his portrayals in the oneshots go to.
  • Attempted Rape: In the Toriko chapter, Bakugou corners and tries to rape Melissa. This backfires as she not only fights back, but when Izuku, Miruko and Momo arrive, Miruko ends up kicking him into the Toriko universe.
  • Blinded by Rage: Bakugou is constantly blinded by complete rage whenever it comes to Izuku. In the Fire Emblem chapter, he blindly follows "Izuku this way signs" that Monica posted as a joke, unaware he's headed right into a trap.
  • Bullying a Dragon: Bakugou does this with beings far more stronger and superior to him.
  • Butt-Monkey: Bakugou is subjected to this repeatedly.
  • Character Death: Bakugou will always die in these chapters or suffer a fate worse than death.
  • Crippling Overspecialization:
    • In the 2nd chapter, after Renoir pierced Bakugou's palms, he is able to note how Bakugou was completely and utterly dependent on his quirk to such an extent that the moment his quirk is gone, Bakugou broke like a pathetic twig.
Renoir: You believed you were strong simply because you could use explosions, didn’t you? True strength is not about power, boy, it's about having the will to push on. No matter the pain or the injuries suffered.
    • When Alcina does this in the 7th chapter, Bakugou tries to turn tail and run, causing her to scoff in disgust, viewing him as all quirk, no guts.
  • Cruel and Unusual Death: In the Claymore segment, Bakugou has his ribcage pulled out, shoved through his mouth and his head severed in half at the mouth.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Bakugou is on the receiving end of this constantly.
  • Evil Smells Bad: Various characters could smell the horrible stench of evil radiating from Bakugou, whether it's Alicia, Solution, or someone who has no qualms eating human flesh or souls, they could tell he radiates nothing but hatred and malice and is utterly rotten to the core. Alicia, who is a well-known blood-drinker, finds the scent of Bakugou’s blood utterly revolting.
  • Eye Scream: When Bakugou starts screaming and raving when Izuku is mentioned in the Countess chapter, Bela stomps on his face, the heel piercing one of his eyes and gouging it out.
  • Fantastic Racism: Bakugou shows a nasty side when it comes to mutants, quirkless or anyone who basically refuses to bend over and kiss his ass.
  • Fate Worse than Death: In the Overlord chapter, Bakugou is paralyzed from the neck down, then injected with Pudding Milk, which gives a permanent increase of resistance to poison and acid as long as they're level 30 or above (which Bakugou is not) and is reduced to a breeding farm for baby black puddings, and is then kidnapped by a green slime to be a new father.
  • Feeling Oppressed by Their Existence: Bakugou loathes Izuku just for the mere crime of existing. In the Countess chapter, Bakugou kept harassing and attacking Izuku, even when he wasn't going into heroics, resulting in him being effectively blacklisted from being hired in Musutafu because Bakugou would attack him like a rabid animal, leading to him getting a job with the Countess.
  • Frame-Up: After killing Bakugou in the Servant chapter, Altera decides to intentionally manipulate it to make it seem like Aizawa was the one who did it. When Izuku tells her no third helping of pudding, she still thinks it's Worth It.
  • Hostage Situation: In the Claymore segment, Bakugou takes a little girl hostage and tells the crowd: Bring me Deku or the girl dies. Priscilla rescues the kid and ends up butchering Bakugou in annoyance.
  • Insane Troll Logic:
    • In the Claymore segment, Bakugou flat-out accuses Izuku of being the reason he lost his quirk in that chapter, which made next to no sense.
    • In the Toriko chapter, Bakugou believes that the best way to prove he's a hero is to film himself corner and rape Melissa despite the fact that such a stunt would all but guarantee he get a life sentence in Tartarus.
    • In the Overlord chapter, he blames Izuku for the new server reset, despite the fact he didn't even read the fine print when given a pass to level 100.
  • Killed Mid-Sentence: In the Kingdom Chapter, Houken slices Bakugou in half while he's still screaming and demanding to know where Izuku is so he can put him in his place.
  • Last Disrespects: The Wolf King proceeds to effortlessly stomp on Bakugou, then to twist the knife further, pissed on his corpse so that it would dissolve into nothing, giving Bakugou the legacy he deserves: Nothing and forgotten.
  • Lured into a Trap: If it leads him to Izuku, Bakugou will follow it like an idiot. More often than not, it's fatal.
  • Medal of Dishonor: Durthu's sword of Daith was one of the most powerful swords, and Bakugou had the pitiful honor of being the weakest creature the sword had ever slain.
  • Rage Quit: In the Overlord chapter, it's revealed he quit playing YGGDRASIL because he kept taking quests with levels too high for him and only jumped in to get a 100 level pass for the game's last year.
  • Sore Loser: Much like Rage Quit above, it's revealed the only reason Bakugou returned to YGGDRASIL was because the devs were offering a free 100 level pass for the last year of the server because he kept taking quests higher than his level.
  • Talk to the Fist: Houken attacks Bakugou while he's screeching like a chimpanzee.
  • Villain Respect
    • In the Expedition 33 chapter, Renoir thinks fondly on Izuku's determination and "True Strength" (noting how he kept on fighting in spite of grievous injuries)
    • In the Kingdom chapter, Houken can't help but respect Izuku for his tactics and skills.
    • In the Fire Emblem: Three Hopes chapter, Edelgard, despite being on opposing sides, still regards Izuku as her lover and rival and would be fine with the outcome of their fight regardless of the winner.
