
Baki Hanma is a boy of many things. On one hand, he is a troublemaker that always get into fights with delinquents and other rowdy sort. On the other hand, he is the green giant known as the Hulk.
After multiple attempts on his life, all of them orchestrated by his own father, Baki decides to take the fight to his old man and shows him just who is the strongest there is.

- Yujiro Hanma took part in Ross's Super Soldier Program, resulting in him becoming the Red Hulk.
- Yujiro's son, Jack Hanma inherits his father's abilities, allowing him to transform into the Gray Hulk.
- Sousuke Sagara is revealed to be this world's version of U.S. Agent.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: The last time Baki fought Yujiro, the latter smashed him into the pavement before dragging him through ten city blocks. The fight left Baki in the hospital.

- Ross becomes President of the United States like in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Captain America: Brave New World.
- Baki mentions to his psychiatrist that he has "breathtaking anger issues".
- Baki using cars as makeshift boxing gloves is a reference to technique Hulk uses in The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and The Incredible Hulk (2008).
- Noodle Incident: The Wrecking Crew go after Baki after he refuses to take the dive for a rigged match.
- One-Man Army: Yujiro and his progeny are this with Baki in particular charges headfirst at a fully armed Helicarrier that is supported by several dozen fighter jets and won.
- The Reveal: Yujiro never had a sixth fighter and only found one in the form of The Wolverine near the end of October.
- Too Spicy for Yog-Sothoth: Absorbing Man takes the full powers of Baki only for the toxicity of the gamma energy to be too much for him.
- Wham Shot: The Wendigo arrives at Shibuya to find someone that can remove his cursed infliction. That person being a man draped in monk attire.
- Wrestling Monster: When Metahuman fights rise in popularity, several professional wrestlers would augment themselves to join in.
- Minoru Suzuki, a Japanese professional wrestler turns himself into Ironclad and becomes Champion of the Meta-Human Federation.
- The Leader would modelled his android after former wrestler then president, Kane, the "Big Red Machine".
- Your Mother: After Baki brags about how he's going to take the title of Champion of the MHF from Suzuki, Suzuki taunts Baki by asking how his mother's back is doing which causes the boy's blood to boil.
