Assassin's Creed Akame
is a fanfic by Northwoods Dude. It is a Crossover between Assassin's Creed and Akame ga Kill!.
The premise of the story is that Tatsumi, Sayo, and Ieyasu are alctually members of the Brotherhood of the Assassins, in the capital to deal with the Templar Order within the Empire. After Sayo and Ieyasu are killed by Aria, Tatsumi is forced to work on his own to rebuild the Capital Branch of the Brotherhood, gaining the interest of Night Raid in the process.
- Child Soldiers: Tatsumi apparently went through training to be an Assassin when he was even younger than Akame.
- Crazy-Prepared: Tatsumi, like any good member of the Brotherhood.
- Even Evil Has Standards: The Templars in this story do not include Esdeath among their number, as her entire philosophy goes against their desire for peace in all things.
- Most of the other members of the Imperial Templars despise Honest for his wanton cruelty, or the same reason that Esdeath isn't a member - it makes their goals harder to achieve.
- Establishing Character Moment: Tatsumi giving Leone a bag full of pyrite coins tells us right off the bat he's more experienced then his canon counterpart at being an assassin.
- Experienced Protagonist: Tatsumi has been an Assassin for years before the story begins, to the point he's able to lead the capital branch of assassins.
- Foil: While it's not often noted, by fans or the author, Tatsumi is one to Akame - both were trained from a young age to carry out assassinations against enemies of their orders. Yet while Akame eventually defected from the Empire to assist Night Raid, Tatsumi never stopped serving the Brotherhood. Another difference that contributes to the above is that while Akame's service to the Empire stunted her emotional and personal growth, leaving her with issues interacting with others, Tatsumi is perfectly capable of being a normal human, as he was raised and trained with other people his age.
- For Want Of A Nail: Owing to the fact he already belongs to the Assassin's, Tatsumi does not join Night Raid.
- Fusion Fic: The early chapters establish that the Holy Land (or at least an equivalent) exist in this universe, and that the Prime M Inister and several high ranking imperials (including Honest) are members of the Templar Order.
- In Spite of a Nail: Despite Tatsumi being an Assassin, Sheele still dies. Justified, though, in that he wasn't even near her when she died, being on a completely different mission.
- Out-Gambitted: Just like in canon, Leone offers to help Tatsumi get in to the military quickly if he pays her. He does just that....except that this time, he paid her with pyrite coins.
- A Brick Joke about this happens a few chapters later, with Lubbock noting she's still a little sore over this.
- Ship Tease: Plenty for TatsumiXMine.
- Spared by the Adaptation: Bulat, due to Liver focusing on killing Tatsumi instead of him. Justified as well: Liver is a member of the Templar order in this story, so he has equally personal reasons for opposing Tatsumi as he does Bulat.
- Sheele, though, isn't so lucky.
