A Trilogy Without Save Files to Abuse (Fanfic)

A Trilogy Without Save Files to Abuse is the third and final part of a three part fanfic trilogy that started with A Dovahkiin without Dragon Souls to spend and continued in Sole Survivor without a radioactive wasteland to roam.

The story alternates points of views between Danny and his Fallout 4 powers and Taylor with the powers of a Skyrim character.

The story leaves off where the previous one ended, with Danny continuing his hunt for the Slaughterhouse Nine and Taylor’s quest to be a proper Hero.

A Trilogy Without Save Files to Abuse contains the following tropes:

  • Evil Doppelgänger: Taylor has one running around in the form of Scales, an Argonian.
  • Guys Smash, Girls Shoot: An inversion due to the nature of their powers. While Taylor can shoot and Danny can certainly smash, their preferred modes of dishing out pain are swords for the Dovahkiin and guns for the Sole Survivor.
  • Groin Attack:
I was still scared, but I needed to keep fighting, I couldn't stop. Before Lung realized what I was doing, dangling from his foot giving me the best angle looking right up his leg, I took aim and unloaded all over his most sensitive body part. Even if it didn't do any meaningful damage, his contorted features assured me that it hurt.
Screaming in pain he clumsily flung me away.
With her new found love of Panacea, Cherish used her powers to make the girl love her more which in turn made Panacea use her powers on Cherish to love her even more again creating a wicked loop of Mastering that neither side wanted to break.
  • Lethal Joke Character: Flatout, "makes people sleepy if they get too close." might seem useless, but he's probably the most dangerous Cape in Lakeview Peaks, scarier then even Sir Gobbles or Taylor, because that's actually only a fraction of his real power, as seen in "Over levelled 3.X". Concept is a lesser example of this trope, as said, he "Translates written languages, also draws really well."
  • Save Scumming: That's what's referenced by "save files to abuse" in the title.
