- Spared by the Adaptation:
- Daenerys Targaryen is not killed by Jon Snow. She instead becomes Queen of Westeros after the War of the Others is over.
- Jaime Lannister does not die with Cersei under a collapsing Red Keep, instead being judged by Daenerys, who offers him to join the Night's Watch for saving King's Landing twice. Jaime accepts and spends the rest of his life on the Wall.
- Margaery Tyrell survives a destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor with wildfire, living to become Jon Snow's wife and the mother of a future king.
- Brynden Tully never dies at the Siege of Riverrun, and is still fighting at the end of the War of the Others.
- Doran and Trystane Martell survive the wars, becoming close allies to Daenerys Targaryen.
- Viserion never becomes the Night King's mount, instead being still very alive 40 years after the end of the War of the Others.
- Switching P.O.V.: Much like the original A Song of Ice and Fire, the fanfiction uses a system where each chapter is told from a different point of view (POV).
