With all the Nightmare Fuel that happens in this series, it's no wonder this trope takes place too.
- Kaneki is an attractive guy who has a Sexy Backless Outfit that was designed for him by Tsukiyama who has a huge obsession with him. However, Tsukiyama is quite yandere for Kaneki and wants to eat him because he's a rare one eyed ghoul. Also, there's several scenes which show him wearing that Sexy Backless Outfit while kagune burst out of him and he has hallucinations and is clearly losing his mind.
- In addition, Kaneki occasionally has hallucinations in which he appears naked, which would be appealing except for the fact that they're hallucinations, and he's seeing the girl who tossed him around like a ragdoll then tried to eat him and the guy who tortured him for ten days crawling up his body with black eyes and long tongues, and this triggers Kaneki into screaming things like "MY BODY IS MINE! GET OUT OF MY BODY!" Which leaves some horrifyingly disturbing implications.
- There's also Tsukiyama hitting on Kaneki while trying to eat him and using lines such as "This is all your fault because you're so irresistible", which sounds disturbingly like the kind of logic that all kinds of abusers use to justify their crimes.
- Tsukiyama himself embodies this trope in the sequel, as a nasty combo of two years of depression and starvation caused by Kaneki's disappearance plus his genetic defect that makes developing a Kakuja impossible leave the guy as a mental and physical wreck
- The quite pretty Touka is seen fighting and eating human meat, while wearing an outfit with a tiny skirt.
- Rize is a seductive, beautiful lady that gets off on binge eating attractive guys. Much emphasis is placed on her taking a shower in one scene while standing in a bloody tub filled with the corpses of her victims. She lures attractive guys with her feminine wiles to gruesomely kill them.
- Following the steel beam incident, Rize is rendered beautiful and passive as The Ophelia, but it's decidedly unappealing because she's in a starved, crazed state. We also see her tied up naked in a tank when held captive by Kanou.
- Ayu aka The Nutcracker in the sequel is a beautiful Ms. Fanservice who is skimpily dressed. She has a dominatrix theme which involves preying on men and a woman she finds attractive, including eating the woman's face. Her signature move also involves her crushing men's testicles and slurping them up.
- She also does some Lecherous Licking to Mutsuki after he was sold at an auction with him being visibly terrified.
- Karao "Torso" Saeki is shown to have a thing for naked bodies with their limbs and head cut off and likes to go shirtless while holding the naked torsos close to his body and playing with the torsos bleeding stumps. He mentions being lonely without a cold body beside him to keep him company. His attack on Mutsuki where he beats him up, pins him down, and tears open his shirt revealing a bound chest is strongly reminiscent of rape. There's also a later scene where Mutsuki is dressed in what looks like a thin dress and is informed by Torso that they are going to get married right before he reveals he cut off Mutsuki's limbs and one of his hands has a wedding ring on it. In another chapter following that he is depicted shirtless and breathing heavily while standing before Mutsuki and saying "My Tooru" which has disturbing implications. In the fourth volume he details how he has a Lack of Empathy and is aroused by dead bodies and Mutsuki especially to the point of masturbation. In chapter 73 there's a flashback to where Mutsuki is abused by his father and physically drowned until he praises him. His father then leers at Mutsuki who's shirt is sodden and drooping down his chest implying he raped him. With his previous lovers whom he abducted he mentions in his diary how when they show their distaste for him and his actions he retaliates by destroying their faces. He believes he just has to get Mutsuki alone and have a long talk with Mutsuki to get him to return his love and says that his feelings for Mutsuki might end up being his salvation. He also gets really excited when fighting Mutsuki and says they are connected by knives. He also informs Mutsuki that he's infatuated with him because of his eyes which are the same as his. In chapter 73 of re: Torso brings Mutsuki a flower crown, and waxes romantically about how beautiful Mutsuki is but gets angry when Mutsuki glares at him and won't accept his compliments. He beats Mutsuki violently while screaming insults. Later, the two are lying together on a makeshift futon. Torso says that he only "scolds" Mutsuki because of how deep his love is, and Mutsuki cries while agreeing. He promises to show Mutsuki a field of flowers. In chapter 78, Torso watches Mutsuki as he's sleeping, wipes away his tears, feeds him, and he shares his Dark and Troubled Past. Mutsuki actually finds himself feeling sorry for Torso and Torso sees Mutsuki as a replacement for his only friend whom was abused and shown to be wearing little to the imagination. He is a young boy here and gets aroused while laying next to his friend who is dismembered and eaten by his father shortly afterward. Our last shot of her body shows her naked torso. At the end of the chapter Torso picks up Mutsuki presumably to take him to the beach which he had wanted to do with his friend and the text at the end reads "Because I love you, I'll take you."
- Torso is thin and gangly and more creepy looking than anything with some fans saying he resembles a spider. Anytime he goes shirtless is usually a prelude to something creepy occurring, usually from him to Mutsuki.
- A couple entries in the 2016 calendar feature the following: Mutsuki dressed as a Cat Girl being fawned over by Torso, Torso holding girly underwear he's showing Mutsuki, and writing a love letter to Mutsuki. In the letter he states he would love to drive Mutsuki places and says he would help him dress, bathe, and eat. He says of course he would need help doing all of that because he would have no arms and legs and because he loves him.
- While the very pretty Eto keeps appearing wearing very little left to the imagination, it's during the process of committing utterly horrifying acts of violence. In general, her nudity is secondary to the torture, mind rape, and general mayhem she commits on-screen.
- Her homicidal crush on Kaneki can be this depending on your interpretation. Some people found it hot, while others found it creepy. There's a manga cover where she's got Kaneki trapped in her bandages that are covering her naked body with Kaneki looking like he's in despair. She's also naked as she reveals her feelings for him after he tries to kill and maim her, including licking his eye before he cuts her in half and eats her kakuja.
- Furuta is cruel towards Eto, whom he implies he has a sexual interest in. He comments on her good looks, says he likes her, and says he wants to dominate her while putting his hand to his crotch. There's nothing erotic about it given Furuta's true nature, how he mentions she can't change anything because she can only cause destruction and we see a shot of skulls behind her.
- Eto's bath scene has her showing off her legs but this comes after she's healed herself from being cut in half and had her kakuja eaten by Kaneki. She also thinks of Kaneki while releasing heart marks, wondering if his "cute hand" that Kanae sliced off has healed yet. Worse yet is that apparently Kaneki wears gloves because his eating Eto's kakuja made his hand grow back with scales.
- During the above scene with Mutsuki and Torso there's a flashback to a scene where Mutsuki's father tries to drown him and leers at his soaking wet son. It's implied he rapes him which is a parallel to a scene where Big Madam, Juuzuo's adopted ghoul mother is implied to have molested him. She ends up castrating him with a hammer after sticking her hands on his crotch and in his mouth.
- When Urie comes across a horrible smell in his quest to rescue Mutsuki he finds a naked dismembered and headless torso.
- He finds another naked torso in chapter 79 and it is Torso's. The after-report describes the most gruesome and graphic mutilation in the entire series: Mutsuki chopped his head off, then shoved something up his rectum all the way into his throat, chopped off his limbs, castrated him and shoved his genitals into the hole where his nose used to be, and cut out his eyes and tongue.
- Chapter 90 features considerable nudity, showing off just how well-built Seidou Takizawa was from his work as an Investigator. Too bad any enjoyment is immediately ruined through a Shameful Strip, Rape Discretion Shot (in which he's forced to ejaculate), and copious amounts of Body Horror and Medical Horror. Instead of being sexy, the nudity just highlights his vulnerability and systematic dehumanization at the hands of his captors, led by the Mad Scientist Dr. Kanou.
- Chapter 100 shows Matsuri tearing off all his clothes to stand naked in front of a window alone and thinking about how much he loves Urie. Some fans like it, find it hilarious, find it Squicky or any combination.
- Matsuri goes naked in his final fight before his death and when sneaking into Urie's bed in an omake. This is after a member of V stabbed through his head with a sword. It's very creepy.
- Chapter 101: Furuta's goal and his motivation. He helped Rize escape V because he loved her and couldn't bear the thought of her being used as a Baby Factory by the higher ups... but when she started having a life of her own, he feared she would get pregnant with someone else's kid and to keep her for himself he dropped the steel bars on her. His plans are to impregnate Rize, marry her, and have her bear him a bunch of kids, all against her wishes of course.
- Amon's return in Lab 4 is filled with this, combining Full-Frontal Assault with tons of Body Horror as his out-of-control Kakuja distorts and forms around his naked body.
- Chapter 114: Mutsuki declares his love for Sasaki/Kaneki while stabbing the hell out of Uta who disguised himself as Sasaki. He proceeds to undress completely from the waist up while sitting atop Uta/Sasaki and moving in a manner indicating something sexual is possibly occurring and then clinging close to Uta/Sasaki who's face is damaged beyond repair and missing his jaw from the stabbing.
- Okahira is made into several clones who are forced to fight Nishiki and Kurona against their will while naked. Nishiki lampshades the squickiness of this.
