- Take a half-shot during each montage or transitional scene.
- Take a half-shot each time Lauren or Heidi says "whatever".
- Take a shot each time a group of characters meet to talk about current events at a Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt stand. (Once per Episode)
- Take a shot each time Lauren and/or Whitney screws up a work-related task and gets a talking-to by Lisa Love. (Once per Episode)
- Take two shots each time Heidi pouts over not getting what she wants.
- Take two shots each time Lauren and Heidi get into an argument. Add one shot if the argument takes place within their apartment.
- Take two shots each time Brody cheats on a female character.
- Take two shots each time Spencer shows off his meditation crystals to another character.
- Take three shots immediately when an episode is revealed to be set on New Year's Eve.
- Take three shots each time Spencer says "I'm sorry" to another character.
- Take three shots each time Lauren is seen crying. Take an extra shot if her mascara is running while she's crying.

- Take four shots each time a character refers to Lauren as "the girl who didn't go to Paris".
