Darth Wiki / Ultimate Crossover Roleplay

Just as big as before, and still growing.

Ultimate Crossover Roleplay, or UCRP, is the direct continuation of Chatzy's Literate Multifandom Roleplay with the same characters, same plot, and same people (plus newcomers). Just like last time, it is a giant crossover roleplay room featuring works such as Star Wars, Gurrenn Lagann, Marvel (Both the MCU and the comics), and far more than what could ever be listed. Expect copious amounts of crazy crossover fight scenes, a fair amount of crack pairings, and plenty of memes.

The setting is that of Soliven, a strange continent where magic, myths, and technology meet and collide. Already struggling with internal tensions, its people are now faced with the added challenge of dealing with the thousands of beings from other dimensions, and are scrambling to find a solution on how to regulate them. Meanwhile, the inter-dimensional travelers bring the conflicts and alliances they have built into a new, permanent home, with new, permanent consequences of their actions.

  • Darth Maul, who was eventually overthrown in an almost bloodless coup because no one was willing to die for him.
  • Subverted with Dr. Doom. DIO and Ganondorf incorrectly assumed the rest of the Cult would join their rebellion against him.
• Abandoned Area: The Grand Colosseum, once a gathering place for all nations to celebrate their unity, has fallen deathly silent as tensions between former allies reach a breaking point.
• Ability Mixing: Too many instances to list, but notable examples include Shulk combining Monado arts and whenever someone used more than one Infinity stone, before they were destroyed.
• Aborted Arc: Character arcs, usually due to claims being dropped or retconned, or visitors leaving permanently before they can be concluded.
• Above Good and Evil: Whether they don't believe that either truly exists, that their being is one that transcends human intepretations, or if they just don't care, nearly every villain indulges in this at some point or another.
• Absolute Xenophobe:
  • Subverted with the Machina Imperium. While most of its members genuinely believed in wiping out organic life, its leader was actually just trying to appease the Anti-Monitor until he grew strong enough to oppose it.

• Absurd Cutting Power: Quite a few examples:
  • Absurdly Sharp Blade: The Falchion, as well as the Scythe of Sariel.
  • Cutting Through Energy: Janemba's sword, if only because it is thoroughly enhanced by his own ki energy.
  • Vibroweapon: Vibroblades from Star Wars have been adopted as the main melee weapons of the Crimson Hegemony.
• Absurdly Cool City: Pretty much every city in Soliven, with magical, draconic, and sci-fi civilizations all available to choose from.
• Acceptable Breaks from Canon: Inevitable in a roleplay room full of existing characters that essentially serves as on the fly fanfic writing.
• Accuser of the Brethren: Connor refuses to forgive Protoman for once being Breakman, and Genos for once being Virus.
• Ace Custom: X's Megabuster was once altered to harness the power of the Infinity Stones.
• Ace Pilot: Darth Vader is still the 'best star pilot in the galaxy,' and his son has clealry inherited most of his skills.
• Acoustic License: Everyone seems to be able to hear each other just fine, no matter how many explosions are going off around them. Justified, seeing as no matter how loud it gets in-story, it's still a text based roleplay.
• Acrofatic: Dr. Eggman, despite being quite rotund, is apparently an Olympic level athlete. The same applies for Wario.
• Action Film, Quiet Drama Scene: Quite common, as roleplays that feature potentially planet busting fights usually occur alongside much less destructive ones.
• Action Girl: Theres more female badasses than most, even if they are still outnumbered by the men. Okuma, Genocider Syo, and T-elos immeaditely come to mind.
• Action Hero: Goku, Saitama, and anyone else willing to fight the big bad.
• Activist-Fundamentalist Antics: Zant never missed a chance to explain just how great Ganondorf is, regardless of where he was or who he was speaking to. Until he betrayed him, that is.
• Actor Swap: Whenever a character is picked up by someone who didn't originally portray them. Gangrel is the embodiment of this, having been passed around nearly five times before he was finally unclaimed entirely.
• Adaptational Angst Upgrade: A whole lot of characters go through a whole lot more in the chat, leading to a whole lot more angst.
• Adaptational Backstory Change: Not so much 'changed' as 'expanded upon,' as many characters with little backstory gain much more depth than they ever did in their original works.
• Adaptational Badass: Usually due to Character Development, many formerly wimpy or weak characters Took a Level in Badass over the course of the chat.
• Adaptational Comic Relief: Downplayed, as many characters get more comedic elements but generally remain serious.
• Adaptational Dumbass: Downplayed again, usually for comedic effect. Goku and Saitama were even bigger idiots together then they were by themselves.
• Adaptational Heroism: Be it through a Heel–Face Turn or simply giving them more Pet the Dog moments, it happens with most villains.
• Adaptational Jerkass: Corrin. While he wasn't a 'jerkass' so to say, he was certainly far less forgiving and tolerant than he was in his original work.
• Adaptational Nice Guy: Raditz is still a jerkass, he just gained a soft spot the longer he spent with Kosa.
• Adaptational Sexuality: Played for Laughs for crackships most of the time, but sometimes not. Akira Kurusu is the most prominent example, going from wooing almost every character in his game except for the males, to being in a loving relationship with Goro.
• Adaptational Villainy: Dr. Eggman, while still remaining quite comical, has adopted much of his personality from the Archie comics.
• Adaptive Ability: Metallix's ability to copy and then use the powers he sees, and certain Dragon Ball character's mimicry technique.
• Adopted into Royalty:
  • Corrin, who was already a royal of Valla, was adopted into the Hoshidan royal family, before being forcefully adopted into the Nohrian royal family.
  • Likewise, Kamui follows the same backstory as Corrin, but chose Hoshido over Nohr.
• Adorable Evil Minions: Most robotic mooks, to the point where some of Eggman's bots are specifically designed to look too cute to be a threat.
• Advice Backfire: Raditz and Shulk trying to help Cosmic Gale find a purpose. Instead of getting him to leave Kosa alone, it made him choose to bond with him permanently.
  • Another example, W.D. Gaster's plan to depower Photoshop Flowey (Force the souls inside of him to rebel), instead caused the souls to take control, creating an arguably worse threat to Soliven.
• Aerith and Bob: While most characters have very unique names, immigrents from more realistic works retain their realistic names as well, eventually leading to this.
• Affably Evil:
  • Ultron Sigma was polite and merciful as could be...To fellow machines.
  • Yoshikage Kira is respectful and nigh charming to everyone, including his victims. Even after he's murdered them.
  • Perfect Cell is almost pleasant to chat to, if you can stand the superiority complex and death threats.
  • Xerxes Roughhouse freed Hyrein from prison and choked Hikari Nire into unconsciousness in order to kidnap her, and soon after proceeded to make friends with Chika and Midorikawa. In general, Xerxes is much more polite to those in good standing with his little sister, Trixie.
• Afraid of Blood: Toko Fukawa, to the point where even the sight of it is enough to make her faint...With interesting side effects.
• Afraid of Needles: Goku can face down his own death without fear, but panics at the sight of even the tiniest of needles.
• After the End: The Mojave desert setting from Fallout New Vegas, which only came to be after nuclear war destroyed most of humanity.
• Ageless Birthday Episode: Often done whenever a character makes a post mentioning their birthday, either for fun or for real, as to not affect the plot too much.
• Age Lift: Usually due to characters aging in real time as the story progresses, being brought to the chat at different points of their work's timeline, or because someone hijacked a younger or older body.
• Agent Mulder: Yasuhiro Hagakure, who believes in aliens, paranormal activity, and demons, but not 'the occult.'
• Aggressive Categorism: Connor, who believes that all robots who aren't made to be three laws compliant are deviants that must be reprogrammed or shut down.
• A.I. Is a Crapshoot:
  • Connor believes this trope has no exceptions, and thus all AI must be strictly controlled and monitored.
  • The entire point of the Machina Imperium, a faction that was specifically made for disgruntled robots that wanted to replace flesh with metal.
• Airborne Aircraft Carrier: The only Star Destroyer in the CORE's arsenal, the Goetia, serves as this for its TIE fighters.
  • Also, Phil Coulson, as Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., has built a Helicarrier that he uses to carry the Zephyr One and the Bus.
• Airborne Mook: Many Machina Imperium mooks were capable of flying.
• Air Jousting: Any duel between two flying characters, usually in Dragon Ball style fights.
• Alas, Poor Villain: Ultron Sigma. While there was no doubt that he needed to be stopped, revealing that most of his efforts were made to save the multiverse rather than rule it did cause some characters to view him in a better light.
• Alien Blood: Perfect Cell's blood is acidic enough to melt your hand just by poking it.
• Alien Fair Folk: Thor and Loki from Marvel, worshipped as ancient Nordic gods, are actually just Asgardians from another realm.
• Alien Hair: Every Saiyan in existence has black spiky hair, unless they're transformed...In which case they get yellow spiky hair instead.
• Aliens of London: Essentially every Blade speaks in a British accent.
  • The Doctor is an alien that apparently is obsessed with London
• Aliens Speaking English: Literally every alien in the chat. Justified, seeing as it's an English-speaking room.
• All Crimes Are Equal: The Pantheon. To them, no crime is worse for a mortal than 'existing in the first place,' and a serial killer is just as evil as a kid who stole lunch money.
• All Deaths Final: To the point where dead characters are listed on the graveyard, which states the rules on claiming dead characters. Subverted in certain cases where characters are only mostly dead, such as Akira's death.
• All-Encompassing Mantle: Batman doesn't let a few dimension hopping shenanigans change his suit too much.
• All for Nothing: The massive struggle to steal a map of the Machina Imperium's castle...Only to later find out that the layout is constantly shifting.
• Alliterative Name: Cao Cao, and Mario Mario. Can't get more alliterative than having the same name twice.
• All or Nothing: The war against the Machina Imperium. Organic life either earned their right to exist, or went extinct. Likewise, the Imperium either won all the multiverse and created their utopia, or got destroyed.
• All Planets Are Earth-Like: Every setting so far has taken place on an alternate version of Earth or an Earth-like planet.
• All Take and No Give: Cosmic Gale took everything from Kosa, and only 'gave' him yet more trauma.
• All That Glitters: The map of the Machina Imperium's castle, once a highly sought after item, was rendered completely inert by the revelation that the castle's layout is ever changing.
• All Your Base Are Belong to Us: While it wasn't anybody's permanent headquarters, the Machina Imperium did attack the Entente Ball, a gathering to celebrate the alliance against the Machina Imperium.
• Almost Dead Guy: Ultron Sigma, who stayed alive just long enough to tell the heroes about Anti-Monitor.
• Almost Lethal Weapons: Pretty much every weapon, since you need direct permission to kill off any character.
• Alpha Strike: Everyone attacking Ultron Omega at once with their strongest attack, and then again with the Anti-Monitor.
• Alternate History: Various settings are alternate Earths, and certain characters come from alternate histories as well: The Courier from Fallout, for an example.
• Alternate Self:
  • Corrin and Kamui, who lived the same lives up until one of them chose Nohr over Hoshido, and vice versa.
  • Present and Future Zamasu, one of whom used their Super Dragon Ball wish to steal Goku's body, and the other, to become immortal.
• Alternate Techline: Noticeable in each setting, especially comparing some which are far more advanced in magic than technology. It's impossible to mistake Hyrule for Sinnoh, or the Mojave Desert for Skyrim, just by looking at their cities.
• Alternative Turing Test: The Kamski test, something that Connor failed and hopes every other android will fail too: Would you, as an android, spare another machine, even if doing so prevents you from accomplishing your objective?
• Alucard: The one from Castlevania, who is actually the son of Dracula, and the one from Hellsing, who's just the count himself going by another name.
• Always a Bigger Fish: The remnants of the Machina Imperium, which were still relatively powerful even after their defeat, were effortlessly destroyed by the Anti-Monitor, the next big villain of the chat.
• Always on Duty: Justified, as every NPC in every setting is severely under qualified to deal with anything that happens in the chat.
• Always Second Best: Vegeta to Goku. Subverted when he finally surpassed him, but only after Kakarot bit the dust. Double subverted when Goku came back...Again.
• Amazing Technicolor Population: Since any character from any work can be claimed, various skin colors are to be expected.
• Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: The Sinnoh region setting, filled with Pokemon of various colors.
• Amazon Chaser: Hol Horse with any action girl, notably Atticho, although the 'action' part is usually just a bonus to the 'girl' part.
• Ambiguous Gender Identity: Korekiyo Shinguuji, who identifies as male most of the time, but has a female alter ego that can 'possess' him at will.
• Ambiguously Human: Most bipedal aliens in the chat resemble humans one way or another, but the Saiyans are practically indistinguishable.
• Ambiguously Evil:
  • Connor, who's just following his programming...Aggressively.
  • Ultron Sigma, the Zamasus, and Dr. Doom, all of whom genuinely believed that what they were doing was just and correct.
• Ambition Is Evil: Whether it's out of a lust for power (Eggman), money (Hol Horse), or a genuine desire to change the world (Doctor Doom), ambition is most certainly the cause for most evil acts in the chat.
• Amnesiac Dissonance: Dark Samus, who went from chaotic evil to true neutral because of its amnesia.
• Amnesiacs are Innocent: In turn, Dark Samus was reduced to the mindset of a young child, without even knowing the concept of good and evil.
• Anachronism Stew: Any setting, mainly because every character can bring varying degrees of technology with them into any of them.
• Ancestral Weapon: The Falchion and the Vampire Killer whip have both been passed down for literally thousands of years.
• Ancient Evil: Ganondorf, who is the same evil Gerudo Link has been dealing with since Minish Cap.
  • Dracula, who's been showing up consistently since a bit after the first crusade.
• ...And 99¢: Black Hat's items for sale are all very specifically priced.
• Androids Are People, Too: The general consensus in Soliven is that any AI complicated enough to obtain artificial sentience is to be treated as a real person. Connor is doing eveerything he can to prevent this, despite benefiting from it himself.
• And the Adventure Continues: The Machina Imperium was instantly replaced by the Pantheon, the Cult of Superiority, the Crimson Hegemony, Algol, Thanoseid, and the Anti-Monitor. All at once.
• And Then John Was a Zombie: Chrom, who became the Risen King after he died.
• And You Thought It Was a Game: Yasuhiro, who took some serious convincing to finally understand that all of this was real.
• Angst: Far too many examples to count, but notable ones include Tony Stark grieving Akira, Corrin losing Chrom, and Genos recovering from his Heel-Face turn.
• Animate Dead: Necromancy makes up half of Dracula's skillset, and is the reason why he has an army of skeletons under his command.
• Another Dimension: Everyone was brought to a new one every few months, until the permanent setting kicked in.
• Anti-Hero: Otto Octavius, who's sense of justice and will to fight evil drives him to some fairly frightening extremes.
• Apocalypse How: Nuclear fallout, android revolution, zombie apocalypse, annihilation of reality itself...The many worlds the chat takes place in have all come close to ending in several different ways.
• Area of Effect: The Super Explosive Wave from Dragon Ball shoots out a deadly sphere of energy large enough to destroy a city in some cases.
• An Arm and a Leg: Corrin, who had his arm bitten off by Chrom. It makes sense in context.
• Artificial Limbs: Luke Skywalker has a robotic hand, and his father only has artificial limbs. Phil Coulson, due to events in Agents of SHIELD, has a prosthetic hand with a plethora of abilities, including: enhanced strength, internet functionality, controlled EMP bursts, and an energy shield that matches Captain America's with the SHEILD logo replacing the star and a solid blue color.
• Attack Drone: Yoshikage Kira's Sheer Heart Attack automatically seeks out and destroys the highest heat source it can find without any influence from its user.
• Authority Equals Asskicking: The heads of most factions just so happen to be their most powerful members, mostly because, as the leaders, they have access to the best equipment before anyone else does.
• Back from the Dead: Most villains are actually claimed after their defeat in their original work, leaving the chat as a sort of second chance at life for them. Goku, Akira, and Alucard have also been resurrected within the chat itself.
• Badass Normal: Tony Stark and Batman both have no powers to speak of other than money and intelligence, and are two of the most powerful heroes in the chat.
• Bad Boss: Sheev Palpatine, while slightly less tyrannical in his reign than he was in Star Wars, still won't hesitate to fry whoever displeases him without a second thought.
• Baddie Flattery: Heaven Ascension DIO alternates between praising his opponent's strength and ruthlessly pointing out their weakness in nearly every battle.
• Bad Powers, Bad People: Soma Cruz, who eventually realized that stealing souls wasn't a very heroic ability.
• Bad Powers, Good People: Revan, who uses the dark side of the force for good as a Grey Jedi.
• Balance Between Good and Evil: Soma Cruz has his vampiric powers specifically to counteract the influence of God in his own world, but it doesn't apply to the chat itself.
• Battle in the Center of the Mind: Taken quite literally, as Monika sends part of her conciousness into a physical manifestation of Natsuki's character file in an attempt to directly stop the corruption that had been hindering her up to this point.
• Because You Were Nice to Me: Because Kosa was nice to Raditz, he's no longer a genocidal, cowardly asshole.
• Big Bad: Anti-Monitor was the true Big Bad of both his own storyline and the Machina Imperium arc, with his influence being the main cause for Ultron Sigma's actions.
• Big Badass Battle Sequence: The war against the Machina Imperium, which involved nearly every character in the chat.
• The Big Bad Shuffle: After Ultron Sigma, there was Thanoseid, Dr. Doom, Palpatine, Zamasu, Algol, and Anti-Monitor, although only that last one was considered the overall chat villain.
• Big Fancy House: The Mansion of Musou, which is described as having four stories, 3 hundred acres of land total, and a yard large enough to host three football games.
• Big Good: Tony Stark essentially serves as this as the head of the Avengers, frequently advising and helping out lesser heroes in his spare time.
• Bishie Sparkle: Sinbad quite literally glimmers at times.
• Born Lucky: Makoto Naegi and Nagito Komaeda are both lucky enough to have it legally classified as their talent.
• Bounty Hunter: Boba Fett and Silver Bullet, though neither necessarily restrict themselves to legal contracts.
• Bow and Sword in Accord: Jeritza, who is quite proffecient in both weapons, despite the fact that neither of them are his personal favorite.
• Bubble Gun: The part cat, part plant, part Stand Stray Cat has the ability to produce deadly...Bubbles of air.
• Butt-Monkey: Speed O Sound Sonic,so much so that he had to invest in a crotch guard.
• Character Development: Having your characters grow and change in response to whatever they come across is one of the main appeals of the chat.
• Chest Blaster: Iron Man, who's improved suit and arc reactor technology have made such attacks even deadlier than usual.
• Closed Circle: The premise of the room. The setting is inescapable, even when it shifts location.
• Color-Coded Elements: All of which can be seen in the form of Fire Emblem spells. Red fire, yellow lightning, green wind, purple dark, and white light.
• Combat Clairvoyance: Shulk's Monado and King Crimson's Epitaph both allow their users to see the future, though the latter can be done at will, while the former only triggers when danger is imminent.
  • This is Yūichi Jin's side effect, allowing him to see different branches of the future. However, he has to take focus away from what's actually happening in front of him to use it.
• Complete Immortality: Zamasu, who can only truly be killed by a being strong enough to change reality and erase existence. An omnipotent god compared to his physical god, essentially.
• Cosmic Plaything: Speed O Sound Sonic again. What with every single player going out of their way to abuse him, it really does mean that 'the universe' has it out for him.
• Crossover Alternate Universe: Soliven, while it was never created to be one, has taken on the role of the 'crossroads of the multiverse.'
• A Day in the Limelight: Characters that weren't given much to work with will often be given plenty of opportunities to shine.
• Deflector Shields: Ships from Star Wars have varying levels of shielding depending on the size of the craft. On a personal level, the Explosive Wave technique from Dragon Ball.
• Devil in Plain Sight: Yoshikage Kira, who still has his Kosaku Kawajiri identity. No one he's encountered so far has managed to figure out that he's the serial killer.
• Dhampyr: Alucard, the son of the vampire Dracula and the human Lisa.
• Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: It took several mortals, but it was still mere mortals that destroyed the Anti-Monitor.
  • Dharkon, an ancient deity invading the world at full power, was eventually obliterated by Tine, a young mage in training. Even Deadpool was impressed.
• A Dog Named "Dog": Bladewolf is a robotic wolf that carries a blade.
• The Don: Maul and later Carnor Jax to the Crimson Hegemony, which is little more than a glorified mafia. Diavolo also counts as this for his gang, Neo-Passione.
• Doppelgänger Spin: The Afterimage technique from Dragon Ball involves moving so rapidly that false images of yourself appear, which can be easily mistaken as the real dead.
• Dracula: Castlevania's big bad, which just so happens to be the OG Bram Stoker version himself.
• Dual Wielding: Luke Skywalker fought against Anti-Monitor with his lightsaber in one hand and Mjolnir in the other.
• Dude Looks Like a Lady: Speed O' Sound Sonic, Link, Akira, and Corrin, all of which infiltrated Gerudo town in the exact same way.
• The Empire: The CORE, or Central Operations for the Restoration of the Empire. The successor to the trope codifier, the Galactic Empire, rules with the same brutality that made it's predecessor famous.
• Enemy Mine: A league of supervillains, an alliance of superheroes, and the most powerful criminal empire all joined together to fight to Machina Imperium, as they all much preffered being alive than not.
  • While it didn't start that way, this is what motivated the Aftokrator Neighbors to ally with Bliss Ocean.
• Engineered Heroics: Mysterio's shtick, though he has branched out to facing genuine threats, if only to look good for the camera.
• Ensemble Cast: Considering there may be anywhere from a few characters to 40 being used at once, the many many stories end up being told through a lot of different eyes.
• Establishing Character Moment: Generally any post that claims a character. Specifically the Anti-Monitor, whose first action was to destroy the remnants of the Machina Imperium without any effort, all while taunting them about how pointless resistance was.
  • Zora Salazar always acted as a smug, yet reasonable cowgirl of honor. However, he true nature of fury and hatred was revealed when she hunted down Sylvester Ashling during her massacre of Musou, slowly and tortuously cutting off his hand, merely as revenge for humiliating her.
• Evil Knockoff:
  • Downplayed with Metallix. While he is an evil robot version of Sonic, he went as far as changing his name to separate him from his identity of just being a copy.
  • Copy, who, as the name implies, is an evil clone of Corrin.
• Evilutionary Biologist: Grima technically counts, as wants to 'replace' humanity with the 'superior' Risen.
• Exactly What It Says on the Tin: Take a guess at what the 'Machine Empire' is all about.
• Eye Beams: Every version of Dio has their "Space Ripper Stingy Eyes" technique, which is actually just highly pressured water jets, appearing to be lasers emerging from his pupils.

• Face–Heel Turn: Genos, turning into the respectful and honorable S-class hero into the genocidal, Ultron Sigma worshipping Virus.
  • Sylvester Ashling, after a long series of abuse and misfortune, joined the terrorist faction Bliss Ocean to get revenge on those who have wronged him, and aid his growing strength.
• Fake Ultimate Hero: Mysterio, who fancies himself as the greatest superhero to ever live, is also the cause of most of the threats he 'saves' the people from.
• Fallen Hero: Soma Cruz, despite fighting as hard as he could to prevent it, eventually fell to evil and became the next dark lord.
• The Farmer and the Viper: Cynthia would have learned a valuable lesson about trusting bounty hunters like Boba Fett, if she was still alive to learn it.
• A Father to His Men: Ultron Sigma, who was less a 'father' and more a god to his men, quite clearly cared for many of them on an individual basis.
• Fighting Spirit: Stands from Jojo, and Personas from...Persona, are both the physical manifestations of one's soul that fight by your side.
• Fire-Forged Friends: Goku and Saitama, while initially at odds, eventually became inseperable after the trials of recovering the Dragon Balls.
• Flight: Be it through magic, powers, technology, or ki, it's more common than one would think. Bonus points go to the dragons of Dragorra, who are capable of flight through basic anatomy.
• Flying Firepower: Iron Man is essentially a floating heavy weapons platform at this point. Also, Helicarrier 064 from The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Agents of SHIELD, due to the fact that it's been retrofitted with self-defense protocols in case something like Loki happens to it again.
• Forged by the Gods: Mjolnir, the Palutena Bow, Monado, and the Potara Earrings were all specifically crafted by divine beings.
• Four Is Death: Guido Mista believes this to the point of having genuine tetraphobia.
• Friendly Neighborhood Vampire: Both Alucards, while not exactly saints, are certainly against the forces of evil.
• From a Single Cell: Perfect Cell, who can completely regenerate from even a single cell and even get a zenkai boost from it.
• Frozen Fashion Sense: Not only with vampires, but most characters who come from a different time period than the setting. Fire Emblem characters come to mind.
• Fusion Dance:
  • Ultron and Sigma into...Ultron Sigma, head of the Machina Imperium.
  • Comic Thanos and Darkseid into Thanoseid, who served as the Anti-Monitor's right hand.
  • Goku and Vegeta, into both Gogeta and Vegito when needed.
  • Tomix and Pandora permanently fused together into Pandorix.
  • Zamasu and Goku Black into fused Zamasu.
• "Get Out of Jail Free" Card: Despite the fact that the Cult of Superiority is filled with criminals, supervillains, and murderers, there's been no serious efforts by the other factions to take them down, mostly because they helped out against both Ultron Sigma and the Anti-Monitor.
• Glass Cannon: Most Stand Users have incredible offensive power, but are still just normal humans when it comes to durability.
  • Chika Amatori, also known as the Trion Monster, has the most raw Trion power in New Border, surpassing even rank #1 shooter Masataka Ninomiya. However, she is still just a teenager.
• Glorious Leader: Emperor Palpatines personality cult hasn't gotten any weaker, despite shifting to a new dimension.
• A God Am I: Several characters. Characters like Zamasu aren't lying when they say it, but others have made less than legitimate claims.
• God Couple: Parodied. Zamasu and Goku Black can easily be mistaken for one, and often are portrayed as one in crack.
• A God Is You: Anyone can claim any omnipotent character, so long as their actions don't interfere with the chat too much.
• Gold and White Are Divine: So much so that the Pantheon's base is almost entirely comprised of those two colors, to signify their palace as the home of the gods.
  • Arceus, Pokemon's deity figure, follows this trope.
• A Good Name for a Rock Band: Gig, giving his name suggestion for the Pantheon: "Masters of The Multiverse."
• The Good, the Bad, and the Evil: The factions. Team Dai-Gurren and the Syndicate of Hope are good, the Cult of Superiority and the CORE are bad, and the Pantheon and Crimson Hegemony are evil.
• Good Versus Good: The Civil War plot line seemed to have been heading towards a battle between the heroes, but was thankfully averted at the last second.
• A Good Way to Die: Lu Bu, who died battling against a stronger foe, something he had been searching for his whole life.
• Gratuitous Latin: The Machina Imperium's name is literally just 'Machine Empire.'
• Gravity Is Purple:
  • Exodus, who's primary color is purple, and has complete control over gravity.
  • Dark-Element Blades from Xenoblade, specifically T-elos, are color coded as purple and have control over gravity.
• Gravity Master: Speaking of, both Exodus and T-elos have complete control over gravity itself.
• "Groundhog Day" Loop: Yoshikage Kira's third bomb, Bites the Dust, creates this effect on someone, resetting to an hour before that person reveals his identity.
• Guns Akimbo: Deadpool rarely, if ever, has only one gun in his hands at all times.
• Having a Blast: Yoshikage Kira, or more specifically, his stand, Killer Queen, is capable of turning anything it touches into an explosive.
• Heel–Face Turn: Virus eventually managed to overcome the malicious programming implemented into him by Ultron Sigma to turn back into Genos.
• Heroic Resolve: Several examples, but Corrin's battle against Dr. Doom sticks out purely for how much he went through while still fighting on.
• Hero Killer: Metallix possess the highest hero kill count in the chat, even greater than that of his boss, Ultron Sigma.
• Hologram: Mysterio's 'superpowers,' as well as nearly every battle he fights, is in reality just a holographic image. Also used for standard for communications between Star Wars characters.
• Holy Burns Evil: Why the Belmonts keep so many crosses and bottles of holy water on hand. Light magic and divine weapons from Fire Emblem tend to have this effect as well.
• A House Divided:
  • The Entente fell apart immediately after Ultron Sigma's defeat, even after being warned about Anti-Monitor.
  • The remnants of the Machina Imperium had one final meeting to determine their next course of action after their defeat. They couldn't agree on anything before the Anti-Monitor killed them all.
• I Control My Minions Through...:
  • Ultron Sigma had fanatical loyalty, agenda style. Specifically, the promise of a robotic utopia, though he did dip into mind control here and there.
  • Zamasu works through fear, specifically the 'losing privileges' and 'prejudice' methods. The Pantheon is just a group of gods that want to keep themselves in power and mortals in check, essentially.
  • Sidious has a combination of many. Part of it is his legitimate authority as the emperor and elected chancellor, part of it is indoctrination, and most of it is fear of pissing him off.
  • Speaking of, Carnor Jax has very few that truly believe him to be the rightful emperor. He rules through fear, and through being the guy who writes everyone's paychecks.
  • Dr. Doom is mixed too. He has some die hard believers in his cause on one hand, and on the other, common criminals who signed on for a quick buck.
• Illegal Religion: The Cult of Superiority deems all religions to be false, subversive, and dangerous, and thus must be eliminated.
• Improbable Aiming Skills: Deadshot's entire gimmick as a villain centers around the fact that he never misses a shot, ever.
• Inherent in the System: Dr. Doom believes that every system has some inherent flaw, beyond his own, which is why and he alone must rule.
• Instant Armor: Iron Man's suit can automatically attach itself to him in an instant.
  • Ki can be used like this to drastically increase durability.
• Intrepid Merchant: Sinbad, who managed to build a considerable trade empire off of his expeditions.
• Kamehame Hadoken: Anyone with ki abilities has the power to create at least a weak version of this.
• Kill It with Fire: As with his canon counterpart, Harry Dresden tends to lean towards fire, even though he has easy access to ice, kinetic force, and lightning.
  • Played With for Natsuki, as this is part of the reason she managed to perfect the 'Bay King'.
• A Kind of One:
  • Frieza and his people, the 'Frieza race.' Subverted, as the chat refers to them as 'Frost Demons.'
  • Any Pokémon. Justified in the case of legendaries, where only one of them exists anyways.
• Last of His Kind: Several examples, but Metallix is specifically notable, in being one of the last surviving members of the Machina Imperium.
• The Leader: Nick Fury and Megaman X both fell into this archetype for the Syndicate.
• Legendary Weapon: The Master Sword, Monado, Mjolnir, and Falchion are all ancient weapons of incredible power in their own world.
  • Harry Dresden also possesses his world's version of the following: Excalibur, Kusanagi, the spearhead of Longinus (also known as the Spear of Destiny, which stabbed Jesus at his Crucifixion), and a few other important religious articles that aren't exactly weapons.
  • That world's versions of Excalibur and Kusanagi are stated to have a nail from the Crucifixion worked into the blade, imbuing it with holy power. All this really does is give whoever is swinging this sword around a fair chance to beat whatever evil they may face. They're hanging out in Harry's umbrella stand, as per their resting place pre-Chnages.
  • Caliburn can be considered this, able to transform into the legendary Excalibur with the power of sheer will.
• Light 'em Up: Julia, especially with the book of Naga, is one of the most powerful mages in Soliven, even while exclusively using light magic usually reserved for healing in her world.
• A Lighter Shade of Black: Dr. Doom and Darth Sidious are a lighter shade than Anti-Monitor, if only because it's hard to be darker than someone who wants to destroy the omniverse.
• Locked Out of the Loop: The only person who doesn't know what happened to Chrom is Lissa, mainly because no one wants to be the one to break the news to her.
• Lost Technology: The Hyrule setting had ancient Shiekah technology that was lost to time. The Death Knight's Scythe of Sariel was also apparently made by these means.
• Made of Explodium: Killer Queen turns anything it touches into Explodium that can be detonated on will, with up to enough strength to blow up an entire building.
• Mad Scientist: Caulder, who is a far less comical example than most, preferring to use his genius to conduct horrific biological experiments among other things. Eggman also applies.
  • Yzma briefly went this route, in order to find better ways to control Spinel.
  • W.D. Gaster can be considered one of the lighter kinds of this, as he is a scientist that turned mad. Lighter in that his experiements are still relatively harmless to the general population.
• Maniac Tongue: Genocider Syo's tongue is absurdly long, despite the fact that Toko's seems to be normal sized.
• A Man Is Always Eager: Hol Horse's primary motivation is money. Next to that is women.
• Master of Illusion: Mysterio perfected the art of holographic projections to the point where he could create entire worlds of pure illusion.
• A Million Is a Statistic: Metallix is the worst character in the chat because he killed Kinkajou and Tomix. Pay no mind to the millions of innocent civilians that he no doubt slaughtered too.
• Missing Reflection: So far, every vampire that's part of the chat doesn't leave a reflection.
• Mon: Several characters caught and kept Pokémon even after the setting changed from Sinnoh. Individual Pokémon have also been claimed.
• Mooks: Each faction has a list of NPC groups and characters to fulfill the role of common soldiers that are easily disposed of.
• Multi-Armed and Dangerous: General Grievous, who has four arms and wield a lightsaber perfectly in each one of them.
• The Multiverse: The premise of the room. Every work of fiction, and all the alternate realities of them, exist and are connected via the multiverse.
• My Name Is Inigo Montoya: Being the attention whore that he is, Superior Spider-Man tends to introduce himself before most of his battles, even to people who already know who he is.
• Naïve Newcomer: Pretty much every character when they first get brought into the chat, to the point where the first order of business for anyone wanting to make a claim is to have an RP where someone else explains to them what's going on.
• Names to Run Away from Really Fast: The Anti-Monitor, Thanoseid, and Ultron Sigma were all pretty much unbeatable in a one on one confrontation, and prompted 'tactical retreats' every time they took to the field of battle.
• The Needless: Undead, robotic, mutant, divine, and some magical characters don't need food, water, or even rest.
• Neutral No Longer: Grima initially wanted the Entente and the Imperium to weaken each other enough to take over himself, but had to join up with the former to prevent Ultron Omega from ruining his plans.
• Nightmare Weaver: Sidious haunted Maul with nightmares the day before he died, mostly to taunt him.
• No One Could Survive That!: Red and Omega teams thought that a Kill Sat would be enough to kill a fury form Lu Bu. It wasn't.
• Nothing Is the Same Anymore: The shift from having a different setting every few months to having a permanent setting in the form of Soliven was quite jarring to some, while quite welcomed by others, as their efforts in one world would not immeaditely be erased by moving onto the next.
• Number Two: Grand Moff Tarkin serves as the second in command to Emperor Palpatine in the CORE.
  • Yoomtah Zing's role in Bliss Ocean, under Xerxes. When Saladin returned to leadership, Xerxes was demoted to this spot.
• Omnidisciplinary Scientist: Caulder, who was genetically altered to be the most intelligent human alive, is a master of every field of science imaginable.
• Omniglot: Essentially every character in the chat, due to how characters who would normally speak different languages interact within the world's rules: Everyone hears everyone else in the language they themselves speak, but can still notice that they're speaking a specific dialect if they focus on it.
• Only Mostly Dead: Akira managed to get resurrected after a failed infiltration mission purely because of how quickly his body was recovered.
• Our Mages Are Different: Pretty much every type of mage can be found in the chat- some use the elements, some use ki, some use mana, some use spirit energy, etc.
• Our Monsters Are Different: Every single subtrope of this counts, seeing as any kind of monster, and all variations of said monster, can be claimed from any work.

P-Z

• Patriotic Fervor: Stroheim. "German engineering is the best in the world!" is practically his catch phrase.
• Person of Mass Destruction: Pretty much any Dragon Ball character, plus Okuma and Natsuki, is capable of destroying the planet easily.
• Planimal: The Stray Cat is an unusual case. It can best be described as a Stand with the appearance of a plant and the personality of a cat. All the same, it still counts, as it still eats cat food and still performs photosynthesis.
• Powered Armor: Halo's Mjolnir armor as well as Both MCU and comic book versions of Iron Man's suit apply.
• Power Makes Your Hair Grow: Saiyans grow out their hair to almost ridicolous degrees if they achieve the forms of Super Saiyan 3 or 4.
• Powers Do the Fighting: Stand and Persona users can be perfectly still while their fighting spirits do all the work for them.
• Putting on the Reich: The CORE, as a continuation of the Galactic Empire, maintains the very nazi-esque uniforms of the old order.
• Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: Star Platinum and The World, other than stopping time, have nothing more to offer than punching things really really fast.
• Realistic Diction Is Unrealistic: There's a severe lack of stutterings, "um"s, repetition, etc. The embodiment of this trope belongs to Kira, who always speaks perfectly, even when he's posting online, as he prefers to use voice detection than to actually type.
• Reality Warper: The reality stone granted this effect to its wielder. Heaven Ascension DIO also uses it as his main power.
• "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Revan to Darth Sidious, explaining just how inferior he was to the original Star Wars Emperor.
• Red and Black and Evil All Over: Darth Maul, with red skin and traditional black Dathomarian tatoos give him this appearance.
• Reincarnation: Dracula, after finally being killed off for real by Julis Belmont, was reincarnated in the form of Soma Cruz.
• The Remnant: The CORE, while quite powerful, are still the operations for the resotarition of the empire. They have nowhere near the complete control over the galaxy itself they did in their own realm.
• Revival Loophole: Dracula, the original dark lord was brought into Soliven at the same time as Soma Cruz, his reincarnation, immeaditely after he became the next one. Thus, two dark lords came to exist at the same time.
• Robot Religion: While it didn't exist in any official capacity, the Machina Imperium did worship Ultron Sigma as their god-king.
• Rocket Punch: Rudol von Stroheim's arms can be fired out of their sockets at will.
  • Natsuki's 'Bay King' technique is this, with an added touch of self-inflicted pain and a boost from bugs in her system.
• Same Character, But Different: MCU and comic versions of superheroes are all 'the same but different.'
  • Zora Salazar and Zora "The Kidd" Salazar, the same person but from two different realities.
• Science Hero: Iron Man became a superhero purely through his own intelligence.
• Serial Killer: Yoshikage Kira and Korekiyo Shinguji are both compelled to kill women, and both for oddly sexual reasons.
• Sliding Scale of Adaptation Modification: Some characters are nigh perfectly true to their original portrayals, while others... aren't.
• Sliding Scale of Antagonist Vileness: The least vile being our well-intentioned faction leaders, and the most being the multiverse-destroying Anti-Monitor.
• Sliding Scale of Continuity: A solid level four, with the chat's overall plot occurring in the background alongside the individual Rps.
• Sliding Scale of Fourth Wall Hardness: Semipermeable, as some characters bring their fourth wall awareness into the chat. Everyone else is clueless, however.
• Sliding Scale of Objective vs. Subjective Games: Incredibly subjective, with only a few rules that are more to keep the chat functioning than give objectives to the characters.
• Sliding Scale of Plot Versus Characters: Huge emphasis on the characters. The plot is essentially just there to provide some direction for the chat.
• Sliding Scale of Realistic vs. Fantastic: Fantastic all the way. Even characters from realistic works are brought in through fantastic means.
• Sliding Scale of Robot Intelligence: Mooks are little more than killing machine, Connor is roughly on the same level as humans, Metallix is several leagues above anything organics are capable of, and Ultron Sigma was practically a god.
• Sliding Scale of Silliness vs. Seriousness: Serious most of the time, with silliness reserved for shitpost roleplays, casual interactions, and comedic characters.
• Sliding Scale of Unavoidable vs. Unforgivable: All of Dr. Doom's evil acts committed in the name of utopia. As Dank so eloquently put it, 'The worst part about Doom is that's he's right. Unless he wins, humanity is screwed.'
• Sliding Scale of Vampire Friendliness: With Alucard being the most friendly, Soma and DIO being the least, and Dracula being somewhere in the middle as a well-intentioned extremist.
• Sliding Scale of Villain Threat: As every character is permanently residing in Soliven, unable to leave by either going to another dimension or physically leaving the planet, every villain is restricted to being planetary at best. Granted, when that one planet is essentially all of existence for these characters, one could argue that they're all universal instead.
• Slow Laser: Weapons from both Star Wars and Halo, despite being made of plasma, are clearly visible when fired.
• Smart People Play Chess: Caulder, Dr. Doom, and Robin have all been known to be masters of chess, among other games.
• Sorting Algorithm of Evil: Anti-Monitor far surpasses Ultron Sigma in both evilness and power, to the point where Ultron Sigma's true goal all along was to find a way to stop it.
• Split Personality: Toko Fukawa and Genocider Syo, along with Jeritza and the Death Knight are seperate identities in the same body, while Doppio and Diavolo go so far as to have completely seperate souls.
  • A lesser example, Natsuki's file had split her more striking Act 2 tendancies into a seperate form known as 'Ghost_Natsuki.chr'
• Split-Personality Makeover: Diavolo has longer, darker hair, and is clearly older and more muscular than his counterpart.
  • Duglais had paler skin, as well as blue tips on their hair and a gray dress compared to Tine's blue shirt and brown skirt. Duglais also replaced Tine's missing arm with a bramble claw when they were the active personality.
  • Ghost_Natsuki takes on the form of Natsuki's Play With Me appearance, so it's quite easy to tell which personality is in control. It's not exactly a painless transition, either.
• Split-Personality Team: Syo, Diavolo, and the Death Knight take on combat responsibilities, while Toko, Doppio, and Jeritza handle everything else, generally.
• The Starscream: Copy wanted to seize power from Ultron Sigma, Carnor Jax wanted to take over the Crimson Hegemony from Darth Maul, and DIO and Ganondorf both wished to usurp Doctor Doom.
• Storm of Blades: Gilgamesh's signature move is throwing literally every blade he's collected over the years at his opponent all at once.
• Stout Strength: Wario is inhumanly strong, even while being almost unheathily large.
• Stronger with Age: Dragons of dragorra gain more power with each year of their almost immortal lifespans.
• Super-Hearing: Kikuchihara doesn't only have hearing 5 to 6 times more powerful than an average human's, but it is also much more precise.
• Super-Intelligence: Caulder was genetically engineered to be the most intelligent human ever, to the point where it could almost be considered a power in itself.
• Super Mode: Mega Evolutions and Super Saiyan transformations both increase power immensly.
• Superpowered Alter Ego: Diavolo is the super powered split personality of Doppio, in having full control over King Crimson. compared to Doppio's limitations of only being able to use its arms.
• Super-Senses: Otto Octavius, along with the rest of the Homo-Arachnids, all have heightened senses among other powers.
• Talking to Themself: Doppio often has conversations with Diavolo, through various random objects he thinks are phones.
• Tarot Motifs: Stands, but only those from Stardust Crusaders, are named after tarot cards, which symbolize both their powers as well as the personality of their users.
• Those Wacky Nazis: Rudol von Stroheim from Jojo is an actual nazi, and The Captain from Hellsing is a neo-nazi. They also happen to be Stupid Jetpack Hitler and the Ghostapo, respectively.
• Time Master: DIO, Yoshikage Kira, and Diavolo, as well as anyone with the time stone, can all alter time in some form or another.
  • While not exactly the same, both Zoras had powers over processes. They can rot corpses to dust in seconds, revert adults back into infants, and even change the position of the sun at will. They both preferred to use this power sparingly, however, due to them considering it "cheating."
• Time Stands Still: Speaking of, DIO's The World has the ability to completely freeze time.
• Transhuman Treachery: Soma, who quickly began to plot the downfall of humanity after becoming a vampire/the next dark lord.
• Trapped in Another World: The plot's premise is that everyone who arrives in Soliven can't ever leave.
  • Elpis, King K. Rool, and an unknown amount of others were forcefully teleported to the Moot Realm, a sort of limbo pocket dimension that Moot has dominion over.
• Ultimate Life Form: Shadow and Cell have both laid claim to the title of ultimate life form, and both of them think far too highly of themselves.
• Uncle Pennybags: Tony Stark somehow always has the time to have some fun in between saving the world, frequently holding parties and celebrations.
• Vampire Hunter: The entire Belmont clan has made a career out of slaying the undead and vampires alike.
• Vampires Sleep in Coffins: Dracula had his own room in Castlevania Doom for just his coffin, and Soma, in an effort to replicate his past life, has one as well.
• Villains Out Shopping: When Zamasu isn't committing genocide, he can usually be found serving tea to his fellow gods.
• Wasteful Wishing: Both Saitama and Goku have been known to do this. Not their fault that Team Dai-Gurren had a lack of snacks and flat screen TVs.
• Weakened by the Light: All vampires so far besides Alucard, due to his half human blood, are weakened or destroyed completely by the sun.

• We Can Rebuild Him: Stroheim and Darth Vader were both saved from otherwise fatal injuries by replacing most of their flesh with metal.
• Welcome to Evil Mart: Black hat's shop is essentially a villain emporium.
• White Hair, Black Heart: Soma Cruz and Zamasu both sport pure white locks to along with their pitch black souls.
• Why Am I Ticking?: Killer Queen frequently turns its victims into bombs.
• Wicked Cultured: Dr. Doom, Dracula, Ultron Sigma all had massive personal libraries and gravitated towards classical music.
• Wicked Pretentious: Soma, who tries to act just as complex and sophisticated as his previous incarnation, but is really just a teenager with an attitude to match his age.
• You Are a Credit to Your Race: Grima wass quite fond of Morgan, despite the fact that she was part of a species he considered to be beyond redemption.
• You Can't Thwart Stage One: Darkseid and the Machina Imperium both seemed unstoppable when they first hit the scene.
• You Owe Me: Kosa promised to take Raditz out to get a coffee when he beat him for the first time, then later, Raditz promised to take him out for a drink after beating him to near death.
• Your Approval Fills Me with Shame: Generally whenever anyone from the Cult complimented anyone from the Syndicate.
• You Will Be Spared:
  • The Machina Imperium was willing to spare any organic being that submitted to their rule and wouldn't procreate.
  • The Pantheon won't kill any mortals who would assist them and 'repent for their sins.'
• You Wouldn't Shoot Me: Usually what Connor does whenever his robophobia nearly catches up to him, safe in the knowledge that attacking him only proves him right.
• Zero-Approval Gambit: Attempted by Ultron Sigma. The Machina Imperium was just a front to build a power base strong enough to destroy Anti-Monitor, which required gaining the ire of essentially the rest of the world to do so.
• Zero-Effort Boss: Dr. Wily folded rather quickly to the Machina Imperium.
  • Most of Dharkon's puppet fighters, due to Duglais/Dharkon not accounting for Deadpool and his large selection of guns. Puppet Dan Gansley got the worst of it, launching off only one successful attack before failing a game of charades, trying to start up a picnic, and then getting shot.
• Zombie Advocate: Though in this case, there are far more robot advocates. The Machina Imperium created a lot of hate for artificial intelligence, something that team Dai-Gurren is trying to fix.
• Zombie Apocalypse: Grima ended his own world by flooding it with Risen, zombie like creatures that were a hivemind to his will. He attempted to do the same to Soliven.
