The War of the Toppats is an unpublished Henry Stickmin Series Fanfic by Suchotator The Hybrid. It is a Continuation Fic of the infamous Toppat Civil Warfare ending of Completing the Mission.
After Henry fled the airship with his loyalists and Dave, they all decided to recruit a new set of criminals from the same prison to win the battle against a vengeful Ellie, who has become the new leader of Toppats.
Tropes:
- Adaptational Badass: Though Ellie is as strong as she appears in canon, she processes several items in her arsenal as much as Henry owns. To top off, she can do this perfectly. Hence, this is why the Government must be careful of fighting her.
- Ascended Extra:
- A lot of Toppat Clan members gets their treatment as this story usually involves the civil war.
- Miss DeMeanor, who has only appeared one scene as a cameo, serves as The Dragon to Ellie.
- Jaque LeTouche has given a larger role as one of Henry's few loyalists on the Airship. He's planning to backstab Ellie, but he later loses to her by overpowering him and he surrenders and goes to Henry along with Toppats on his side.
- Downplayed with General Galeforce. While he's important character, his role as Hero Antagonist only shown in half of the routes where Henry is Toppat Leader, and only one of the two shows him on-screen. Here, he's far more prevalent, even sharing the role from Ellie and Dmitri as the main antagonists.
- A lot of Toppat Clan members gets their treatment as this story usually involves the civil war.
- Bad Boss: Downplayed. Ellie threatens the Toppat mooks to find Henry but otherwise does go well with the elites and her own right-hand lady.
- Big Bad: Ellie Rose cements herself in this position by becoming the official Toppat leader and Henry's Arch-Enemy. Though later chapters turn it into Big Bad Ensemble, with Captian Hubert Galeforce and Dmitri Petrov existing.
- Enemy Civil War: The Toppat Clan led by a newcomer against its former leader and his group of loyalists (and a Toppat prisoner).
- Evil Versus Evil: Both Henry and Ellie are the leaders of criminal groups going against each other.
- Foil: Ellie is one with another major antagonist, Galeforce. Both get betrayed by the same protagonist and thus get pissed and are the most important member of their affiliation (the leaders of the Toppat Clan and the Government). Galeforce is effectively Good Counterpart to Ellie, as he cares for his soldiers deeply, contrasting Ellie's Bad Boss towards low-ranking Toppat members.
- Villain Protagonist: Henry Stickmin, as per usual.
