An Unpublished (and barely written, to be honest) Work by Thief of Time. It is a saga about a planet called Elementalis, and qualifies as both extreme Sci-Fi and Extreme Fantasy and everywhere between, depending on which part.
There are currently about 8 planned, although it may expand. He's not sure what format he will put this in, probably an RPG series. Right now it is in pre-planning, but I have most of the story figured out.
Tentative Titles:
- Together We Stand (5th in the chronology, about the struggle of Zalcut and La Résistance vs The Empire)
- Against The Darkness (1st in the chronology, about the very first evil on Elementalis)
- Searching For A New World (3rd in the chronology, about the last people of Earth searching for a new planet)
- As The Old One Decays (2nd in the chronology, about what lead to the Earth being uninhabitable in the first place, also humanity's first encounters with magic)
- On The Brink Of Destruction (7th in the chronology, about Zalcut's daughter Artemis, dealing with the impact of technology, especially robots, on Elementalis)
- We Still Fight Further (4th in the chronology, about Zalcut's father Jesse, and his time in the human military on Elementalis)
- We Search For Answers (6th in the chronology, after winning the war against The Empire, Zalcut still has many unanswered questions)
- We Unite As One (8th in the chronology, 100s of years after On The Brink Of Destruction, the heroes must come together once more to save Elementalis from all evil)
The plots sound kinda basic, but like I said, it's in pre-planning stages.
Tropes that will apply to this series:
- A.I. Is a Crapshoot: Most robots are self-aware, and all always getting in the ways of the heroes, especially the humans because they are REALLY wrecking things there, and the robots would rather have things preserved
- Aliens Speaking English: The humans can understand the intelligent species on Elementalis. Not quite sure how to Hand Wave it yet.
- Anachronic Order: In terms of chronology, I plan to have the 5th finished, then the 1st, then the 3rd, then the 2nd, then the 7th, then the 4th, then the 6th, and finally the 8th.
- Elemental Embodiment: The various Titans, 1 (or 2 in the case of Spectral) for each realm.
- Elemental Powers: Represents each of the 10 different Realms: Wind, Water, Fire, Earth, Nature, Electric, Ice, Light, Spectral and Darkness.
- The End of the World as We Know It: Happens to the Earth, and the surviving 500 citizens take a series of starships to search for a new home.
- Humanoid Aliens: Every intelligent species on Elementalis is this.
- Mad Scientist: The Puppeteer, who creates the Patchworks. Why? Because he feels like causing destruction, that's why.
- Mix-and-Match Critters: The Patchwork creatures, some with
incredibly disturbing results.
