This is for all my Dark Eye characters.

    Efferdlieb Elida Schorkin
Race: Human
Culture: Bornlander
Profession: Sailor
The insecure daughter of an Efferd-priestess with an unexplored magical talent.
  • Blow You Away: Since her father was an air genie, she has air elemental magical powers.
  • Character Alignment: Lawful Good.
  • Disappeared Dad: Her father is an air genie that she never met.
  • Hands-Off Parenting: While physically present, Elidas mother was more absorbed in conversing with her god, than her daughter and her father was never present. Elida was mostly raised by other sailors.
  • Missing Mom: Her mother turned to mist and disappeared when she was 13.
  • Not Quite Flight: With the spell "Skywalk" she can walk over air for a few minutes.
  • Parental Neglect: Elidas mother was a mystic and spent most of her time conversing with her god, giving her daughter little to no attention. And she never met her dad, who is an air genie.
  • Sacred Language: She speaks a little Aurelian on account of it being the Efferd-churches favored language and her mother being one of their priestesses.
  • Shrinking Violet: She is very withdrawn and insecure.

    Liloë Collen
Race: Half-elf
Culture: Middenrealm
Profession: Ceoladir
A magical bard who travels Aventuria with her twin brother Aventus.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Her brother calls her "Lilo".
  • Awesome, but Impractical: Most of her abilities count, since she needs to play an instrument or sing for some time for her magic to take effect, but special mention goes to her "Emotion Transfer". It allows her to instantly absorb up to three levels of confusion, fear or stupor. The downside is, that after 24 hours, these are transferred onto her.
  • Bargain with Heaven: Made a bargain with Farindel Wipfelwind, a powerful fey, in exchange for being telepathically linked to her brother.
  • Beautiful Singing Voice: Comes in handing, with her being a bard.
  • Birthday Buddies: With her twin brother naturally.
  • Brother–Sister Team: She and Aventus are this.
  • Brown Note: Her "Earsplitting Sound" ability produces this. Anyone who hears it has to make a Willpower check to keep from covering their ears and gains a level of confusion if they don't. It made a group of goblins who planned to ambush the group flee.
  • Character Alignment: Neutral Good.
  • Eating the Eye Candy: She does this whenever Phelix gets undressed.
  • Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: Zig-Zagged. Aventus is by nature the more careful of the twins, but he has a quick temper and is very distrustful of strangers, while his sister is a happy-go-lucky person, not prone to anger.
  • Friend to All Children: She is very fond of and likes to play with children.
  • Friend to All Living Things: As a bard she's already a people person and her friendliness isn't limited to humans.
  • Good Parents: Downplayed Her mother left, when she was five, but her father is this. Despite both his children being rather special and very different from him, he loved them dearly and supported them in all their goals.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: She and Aventus are Half-Elves.
  • Half-Identical Twins: Averted The twins are recognizably siblings, both being rather tall, having black hair and pale skin with slim builds, but are visually distinct enough, not to be confused for each other and their characters and abilities aren't similar at all.
  • Hates Being Alone: She gets anxious without her brother and downright panics when she's alone.
  • Hidden Weapons: Has a throwing dagger in each boot.
  • Horny Bard: Downplayed She is easily infatuated, but it never goes beyond flirting and snogging. The one time it did, it went badly.
  • Magic Music: Her primary ability.
  • Missing Mom: The twins mother left them, when they were five.
  • Money Dumb: She's bad with money and hands all her earnings over to her brother, leaving him to manage the combined funds.
  • Not in This for Your Revolution: She helps her brothers quest to find Phexs artefact not out of any sort of religious faith, but because she follows her brother, wherever he goes.
  • Parental Neglect: While her father is very loving and attentive, her mother left when she was five and thus far has not returned.
  • Psychic Link: Liloë shares this with her brother, as well as their mother.
  • Really Gets Around: Downplayed She flirts a lot but doesn't go much farther.
  • Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl: Downplayed, but Aventus and Liloë have this dynamic.
  • Sleepwalking: The twins do this. Sometimes even both in the same night.
  • Sibling Seniority Squabble: Downplayed but Aventus does mention being older than Liloë by 7 minutes.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Justified with the twins being, you know, twins.
  • The Bard: Her profession is called "Ceoladir", which refers to a magical musician from her home Albernia.
  • The Tease: Downplayed Not sexually, but Liloë tends to lead people on and leave them hanging.
  • Twin Telepathy: Not by nature, but because of Liloës Fey Pact, the twins can share thoughts and emotions via mind-link.
  • Undying Loyalty: The twins to each other.
  • Voice Changeling: She can perfectly mimic other peoples and even animal voices.
  • Wandering Minstrel: See The Bard.

    Moqtah Ul'Mach'nahtûl
Race: Human
Culture: Trollridger
Profession: Tribal Warrior
A strong and rough barbarian woman.
  • All Amazons Want Hercules: Downplayed While Moqtahs first and true love remains Rhazzar, largely because she considers him her equal in strength, she also appreciated her second love, Zerasuul, for his qualities as a healer and kindness to her children.
  • Book Dumb: Justified in that the Trollridgers are a tribal culture without schools.
  • Character Alignment: Lawful Good. Though because of the cultural difference and Trollridgian appreciation for strength and suffering, she can also be seen as Lawful Evil.
  • Does Not Speak Common: Downplayed She's learning Garethi, but is not yet fluent.
  • Language Barrier: Downplayed Since she's only been learning Garethi for a relatively short period of time, she sometimes faces this.
  • Left for Dead: Rhazzar left her alive, because of the interference of her daughter. But wounded as she was, she probably would've died anyway, if the Golgarites hadn't found her.
  • Never Learned to Read: Justified Zhulchammaqra, the language of her people, doesn't even have a written form and she's still learning Garethi.
  • Power is Sexy: This is pretty much the mindset of all Trollridgers. Moqtah comes to realize, that power can take different forms.
  • Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Pretty much why she entered into a relationship with Zerasuul, her tribes healer.
  • The Berserker: Can be this, if she goes into an Unstoppable Rage.
  • The Big Guy: She is a Rochshazi, which means that among the already tall Trollridgians, she is extra tall. At 7'8 ft she certainly counts.
  • Unstoppable Rage: Can go into this and will attack blindly and brutally if she does.
  • You No Take Candle: Her grammar is far from perfect, but she's still learning.

    Nurhan Omarsunni sâla Shadilaq
Race: Human
Culture: Tulamidian
Profession: Heir of the Graves
A curious grave explorer.
  • Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Has jet-black hair and is pretty quiet and withdrawn.
  • Celibate Eccentric Genius: Skin on skin touch makes her uncomfortable and she's much more interested in forming an intellectual connection.
  • Character Alignment: Neutral Good.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Her answer to being asked, what people really want? Quiet.
  • Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: While not ghostly pale, she is noticeably light-skinned for someone of her origin and it contrasts harshly with her ink-black hair and generally dark attire.
  • Emotionless Girl: She doesn't emote much and speaks in a low, breathy voice.
  • Ice Queen: She is rather cold and aloof.
  • Inexplicable Language Fluency: Averted Not inexplicable, since her spell "Xenographus" let's her read any language she encounters for a limited duration.
  • Omniglot: But only in reading, since it's a spell, that lets her do it.
  • Smart People Know Latin: The fantasy version. She speaks Ur-Tulamidya.
  • Squishy Wizard: ''Downplayed' While her constitution is fairly average, she lacks any fighting abilities and doesn't have a single spell to deal damage or shield herself.
  • The Stoic: Rarely shows emotion.

    Rhona Conchobair
Race: Human
Culture: Middenrealm
Profession: Wizard of the Honing-College

    Sira
Race: Half-elf
Culture: North Aventurian
Profession: peddler
A shrewd and superstitious hawker.
  • Book Dumb: Justified in that she never received a formal education.
  • Bound and Gagged: While held captive by the orcs, Curthan, Rondriane and Sira were bound and blindfolded. At least until Sira managed to free herself and the others. Not that it mattered in the end.
  • Character Alignment: True Neutral.
  • Curtains Match the Window: Brown hair and brown eyes.
  • Defiant Captive: Zigzagged While she's not openly defiant like her comrades Rondriane or Curthan, she does search for a way to escape and even tells Curthan, who plans on killing himself rather than being enslaved, to endure and wait for an opportunity to escape.
  • Fantastic Slurs: She gets called a goblin as an insult by the orcs. Ironic, since she herself has called others cowardly goblins before.
  • Fragile Speedster: She is not much of a fighter and prefers running away or giving up.
  • Half-Human Hybrid: A Half-elf.
  • Left for Dead: Averted The orcs wanted to leave her in the wilderness to freeze, if Rondriane hadn't managed to win the fight against their leader.
  • Messy Hair: It's said to resemble a birds nest - and she likes it that way. It makes things she sticks into it stay there.
  • Never Learned to Read: Played Straight Never received a formal education.
  • Only in It for the Money: At least at the start. She changes her tune after Rondriane risks her life for her and Curthans freedom.
  • Scars Are Ugly: Siras face is marred with pock-scars.
  • Sliding Scale of Beauty: Level XII.
  • Talking Your Way Out: Downplayed At least she manages for Rondriane to be healed and get her armor back before she fights the orc chieftain.

    Walla Jorasdottir
Race: Human
Culture: Thorwalian
Profession: Phex-Priestess

  • Character Alignment: Chaotic Neutral.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: She grew up in a town that got annexed by the Thorwalians. They outlawed whaling which left her whaler father jobless and strained his relationship with her Thorwalian mother, to the point of domestic abuse. Finally her parents split, after her father threw a broken bottle at Wallas face and scarred her for life. Walla later returned to her father and cared for him to his death.
  • Fiery Red Head: Averted She is actually quite reserved.
  • I Work Alone: She is very distrustful of people.

    Zephirina Lupinez

  • Action Girl: Comes with being a mercenary by profession.
  • Blood Knight: She really likes fighting.
  • Book Dumb: Justified in that she never received a formal education.
  • Braids of Action: Wears her long hair braided and pulled into a knot.
  • Character Alignment: Lawful Neutral.
  • Charm Point: Takate considers her stutter to be this.
  • Curtains Match the Window: Brown hair and brown eyes.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Averted Sometimes assumed to be the reason for her stutter, but her upbringing was actually quite happy, though poor.
  • Endearingly Dorky: She openly states, that people find her stutter annoying. Takate thinks it's cute.
  • Good Bad Girl: She really gets around and isn't ashamed of it.
  • Good Parents: She loves her family dearly and they love her.
  • Handicapped Badass: Can barely get two words out without stuttering, but is a terrifying opponent.
  • Hard-Drinking Party Girl: Likes celebrations and drinking in equal measure.
  • Never Gets Drunk: Averted Though she can drink a lot, she still gets tipsy. Interestingly stutters less when drunk.
  • Never Learned to Read: Played Straight Never received a formal education.

  • Really Gets Around: Loves sex and isn't picky about who she has it with.
  • Safety in Indifference: After having been set up by her highborn lover so he and his friends could take the piss out of her speech impediment and apparent simple-mindedness she isn't bitter, just indifferent.

  • Shameless Fanservice Girl: Has no issues with being seen naked.

  • The Hedonist: Besides money and her family, Zephirina only cares for having fun.
  • The Medic: Downplayed. While her primary ability is her fighting skill, she is quite capable of treating wounds sustained in battle.
  • The Tease: She's certainly fond of walking around naked.
