Wanda Ventham (born 5 August 1935) is an English actress, who has enjoyed a long career in British television since the 1950s.

This has included three separate appearances in classic Doctor Who, and roles in many other popular and cult shows such as Danger Man, The Saint, The Avengers, The Prisoner, Z Cars, The Sweeney, Emmerdale Farm, All Creatures Great and Small and Only Fools and Horses.

She is the mother of actor Benedict Cumberbatch, and played his onscreen mother in his most famous role of Sherlock.
