Vincent Violette (born January 20, 1955 in Paris) is a French actor and voice actor.
The son of actor and voice actor Jean Violette, he has specialized in dubbing, often as villains. He is the regular French voice of John Turturro and frequently dubs Andy García and Gary Oldman.
He has often dubbed the Batman foes Riddler and Scarecrow, from Batman: The Animated Series and Batman Forever (one of the rare Jim Carrey roles not to be dubbed by Emmanuel Curtil) all the way to the Batman: Arkham Series and the DC Universe Animated Original Movies. Not to mention Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman) in The Dark Knight Trilogy.
French folks who grew up in The '90s watching Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain also remember him well as the voice of Pinky ("Minus" in French). He has also voiced Professeur Quirrell in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Cad Bane in all of his appearances in Star Wars, and Illidan Stormrage and the revamped Nathanos Blightcaller in World of Warcraft since Legion.
