Tavi Gevinson (born 1996) is an American blogger, writer, editor, and actress.
Raised in the Illinois suburbs, Gevinson first rose to prominence with her popular fashion blog Style Rookie in the late 2000s, which offered commentary on fashion trends and featured her wearing distinct outfits. She decided to pivot to discussion on feminism and pop culture in the early 2010s and founded Rookie Magazine to this end at the age of fifteen. Gevinson maintained and edited Rookie
until 2018; the content is now maintained as an archive.
Gevinson also began an acting career, appearing on both stage and screen. She's best known for her main role as Kate Keller on Gossip Girl (2021).
