Summer Yasmine Bishil (born July 17, 1988 in Pasadena, California, The United States) is an American actress. Her father is an Indian-American, and her mother a Mexican-American. She was raised in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain partly while growing up.
She's perhaps best known for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy Urban Fantasy drama series The Magicians.

- Dawson Casting: Then 19-year-old Bishil played a 13-year-old Jasira in Towelhead. This is somewhat lampshaded by a line even featured in the trailer in when hearing her age a character responds "You look older".
- Fake Nationality: She's played characters with multiple different ethnicities, such as Lebanese-American (in Towelhead) and Bangladeshi (Crossing Over).
- Race Lift: Margo (formerly Janet) was white in The Magicians books while Bishil is mixed race.
- Scully Box: Bishil is 5'3" and her The Magicians co-worker Hale Appleman (Eliot) is well over 6', so Margo wears a lot of tall heels.
