Robert Powell (born 1 June 1944) is a British actor best known for playing the title role in Jesus of Nazareth. He's also played Richard Hannay in the 1978 adaptation of The Thirty-Nine Steps, Dave Briggs in The Detectives and Mark Williams Holby City.
