Prentice Penny (born December 1, 1973) is an American producer, director and screenwriter. Penny is best known for being the showrunner/executive producer of the television series Insecure. Penny has also produced and written for series such as Scrubs, Happy Endings, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He also wrote and directed the film Uncorked for Netflix.
