Founded in 1985 and based out of California, Novalogic is a privately owned software developer and publisher best known for their combat simulators.

Originally Novalogic ported popular arcade games to home consoles but in 1992 stepped into the world of combat simulations where it has stayed ever since, chief among them the Comanche and Delta Force series.

Novaworld, the resident matchmaking and stat tracker, was launched in 1997 to better facilitate organization within their games and has been included with every Novalogic publish with supported multiplayer.

In 1999 the US Army had took interest in their work with Novalogic Systems, Inc. (NLS) being founded. NLS was contracted as a developer for training simulations, most notably the Land Warrior Soldier System, and formed partnerships with defense contractors Boeing, Sikorsky, and Lockheed Martin.
