
Norman Frederick Jewison CC (born July 21, 1926) is a retired Canadian director, producer, writer, and founder of the Canadian Film Centre best known for In the Heat of the Night, The Cincinnati Kid, and Moonstruck.
He was married to Margaret Ann Dixon, currently married to Lynne St. David, and had three children with Dixon.
Oh, and despite his surname, he isn't Jewish—he is a Protestant Christian.
