  • Best Known for the Fanservice: In 2004, she starred in an infamous Monday Night Football pre-show skit as a takeoff of Edie Britt character on Desperate Housewives. Sheridan, in-character as Edie and dressed only in a Modesty Towel, enters the Philadelphia Eagles locker room and seduces wide receiver Terrell Owens by dropping said towel. The skit was very controversial at the time, yet Desperate Housewives next episode posted the show's highest ratings to date.
  • Fashion Model: She began her career as a fashion model.
  • Hostility on the Set: In April 2010, Nicollette Sheridan sued Marc Cherry (producer of Desperate Housewives) for twenty million dollars on charges of assault and battery, gender violence, wrongful termination, and "intentional infliction of emotional distress". She said that Cherry created a hostile working environment, and behaved unprofessionally towards her on and off-set and her character of Edie was soon got a bridge dropped on her. She was noticeably the only actress not to return as a ghost cameo in the Grand Finale.
