Michael Naranjo is a Native American blind sculptor who is the son of ceramic artist Rose Naranjo. He had served in the army during the The Vietnam War, where he became blinded and lost his right hand when a grenade was thrown at him.
He has done sculpting out of paper-mache, clay, and wax and had some cast in bronze. Some of his works are included in collections at the White House, Vatican City, Italy, among other places.
