Leslie Allen Jordan (April 29, 1955 - October 24, 2022) was an American actor and writer from Chattanooga, Tennessee, best-known for his roles on Hearts Afire, Will & Grace, and The Cool Kids. He was well-known both for his diminutive stature (4'11")note and nasal Southern drawl, and was openly gay for his entire career. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, he began posting (mostly comedic) short videos on Instagram where he lampooned various social media trends and other modern events, which introduced him to a new generation of fans; at the time of his death, he had nearly six million followers.
On October 24th, 2022, Jordan passed away due to suffering a medical emergency while driving his vehicle and crashing into the side of a building in Los Angeles. He was 67 years old. An official autopsy report in January 2023 confirmed that he had died from sudden cardiac dysfunction due to arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
