Kiyoyuki Yanada (May 10, 1965-November 14, 2022) was a Japanese voice actor whose forte was of the Manipulative Bastard or Affably Evil villains.
Nicknamed "Gori," as in "Gorilla" from his Star-Making Role as Takenori Akagi of Slam Dunk (TV Anime), Yanagi is the go-to man for the Big Guy, and exceptionally awesome at guys with the penchant for Kabuki.
With the consent of Yanada’s wife, Yanada’s close friend, Mitsuaki Madono released an official Twitter statement informing the public of Yanada’s death while receving cancer treatment
on November 14, 2022. May he rest in peace.
