Park Soo-young (Hangul: 박수영; born September 3, 1996 in Jeju Island, South Korea), also famously known by the Stage Name "Joy," is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a member of the massively successful South Korean girl group Red Velvet. She's nicknamed "Sexy Dynamite" and "Miss Korea," the latter because she once shared that as a kid, she thought she'd eventually compete in beauty pageants.

Tropes:
- Brainy Brunette: To the point that a scientist (serving as the fact-checker on the variety show "Trick & True") has dubbed Joy a genius.
- Friend to All Living Things: She absolutely loves animals, though dogs are possibly her favorites.
- A Girl and Her X: Joy and her dog, Haet-nim, a Maltese.
- Lighter and Softer/Tamer and Chaster: In Red Velvet, she's Ms. Fanservice. The group has lots of dark, creepy music videos and concepts. In her solo releases, however, over which she had great creative control, she projects a sweet, innocent image.
- Ms. Fanservice: She plays this role in Red Velvet. It's used to great effect in their music videos.
- Shameless Fanservice Girl: Ironically for someone whose drama roles are demure Reluctant/Innocent Fanservice Girls, she's quite well-known for being this in real life.
- Stage Name: Joy for Park Soo-young.
- Statuesque Stunner: Downplayed. She's 5′6″. Above-average height for women, and especially prominent next to the other members of Red Velvet.
