Joe Spinell (born Joseph Spagnuolo, October 28, 1936 - January 13, 1989) was an American actor best known for Taxi Driver (1976), Rocky (1976), and Maniac (1980).
He was married to Jean Jennings and they had one child. His cousin is football coach Steve Spagnuolo.
Spinell died in 1989 at the age of 52 from a heart attack.
