Jérémie Renier (born January 6, 1981 in Brussels) is a Belgian actor.
He's been acting for most of his life, taking up theatre, mime and even circus lessons at a very young age. His Star-Making Role was Igor in 1996's La Promesse by the Dardenne Brothers at age 15, the recognition it gave him in both Belgium and France made him sought after in both countries. He went on to work with the Dardennes several times as well as with other renowned directors such as Bertrand Bonello, François Ozon and Xavier Beauvois.
He is the younger brother of actor Yannick Renier. They wrote and directed a film together, titled Carnivores.
