Jean Merilyn Simmons OBE (31 January 1929 - 22 January 2010) was a British-American actress and singer.
She was best known for Guys and Dolls, The Robe, Spartacus and Elmer Gantry. She was married to actor Stewart Granger and writer/producer Richard Brooks and she had two children.
She passed away from lung cancer on January 22, 2010 at age 80.
Not to be confused with Gene Simmons.
