James Brolin, born Craig Kenneth Bruderlin (born July 18, 1940 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor of film and television.
He is the father of actor Josh Brolin and husband of Barbra Streisand.

- What Could Have Been: He came very close to be Eon Productions' James Bond as a replacement for an aging Roger Moore in Octopussy and actually filmed some scenes in India. Then producer Albert R. Broccoli felt the pressure of using an established Bond actor against the return of Sean Connery in Never Say Never Again and brought Moore back.
