Imogen Hassall, (25 August 1942 — 16 November 1980), was a British actress.

After time appearing on stage, she made her first TV appearance in 1964, appearing in The Saint, The Avengers (1960s), and The Persuaders!. Her first major film appearance was in 1967 in The Long Duel, followed by roles in When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth, Carry On Loving, Incense for the Damned, and White Cargo.

Because she was known for portraying sexy, scantily clad characters, she earned the nickname of "The Countess of Cleavage".

Despite this, all was not well for Hassall. She had two failed marriages, lost her daughter only four days after she was born, had a miscarriage, and then had to watch her career decline as The '70s dragged on. She became depressed and after other suicide attempts, was found dead at the age of 38, due to an overdose.
