Human Entertainment was a Japanese game development and publishing company founded in 1983 and based in Tokyo. Known as a developer of Adventure Games, Survival Horror games and sports games, they were a major player on the SNES and PlayStation. Probably their most famous work is the Clock Tower series. Notably, Goichi Suda aka Suda51, is an alumni of the company, having worked there as a developer between 1993-1998.
Human declared bankruptcy in January 2000, but several of their series continued as their IPs were distributed to other companies. Clock Tower was given to Sunsoft (which received an installment called Clock Tower 3 co-developed by Capcom), while Twilight Syndrome and Fire Pro Wrestling were given to Spike, now Spike Chunsoft. The world of Twilight Syndrome and Moonlight Syndrome continued to be used in Grasshopper Manufacture's The Silver Case and other games.
Various staff members moved to these companies, as well as Nude Maker and Sandlot. Consequentially, Human Entertainment's spirit lives on to this day.
