Hosem Animation Studio is a Chinese animation studio which is a subsidiary of Hong Ying Animation Co., Ltd.. It was founded by a group of Taiwanese animators in 1997 in Shanghai, China. In addition to the main Shanghai studio, Hosem has a satellite studio in Chengdu, Sichuan province. Many employees from Shanghai Morning Sun Animation Co., Ltd., such as Arthur Wu (who used to work at Wang Film Productions Co., Ltd. in both Taiwan and Mainland China until 1997) and Horseman Cao (who used to work full-time at its main Shanghai studio as well as its satellite studios in Hong Kong, Taipei and Los Angeles until 1997), came to work at Hosem Animation Studio.
