Guru Studio is a Canada-based animation company founded in 2000 that specializes in CGI animation, as well as 2D animation in Flash and ToonBoom.
Their first aired animations were IDs and bumpers for Teletoon during the early to mid 2000s, many of which are doubtlessly remembered by Canadian children from that time. In around 2004, they began working with other companies to animate shows and movies, most notably on Nick Jr.'s hit Merchandise-Driven Canadian Preschool Show PAW Patrol and on Cartoon Saloon's acclaimed animated Afghanistan-set drama The Breadwinner.
In 2011, they began independently animating shows, beginning with the Family Jr. series Justin Time and have since produced several other original series, like True and the Rainbow Kingdom, Big Blue (both of which have aired on CBC Kids), and Treehouse's Pikwik Pack. As you can tell, most of their original work is made for the preschool demographic.
