Edna Mae Durbin (December 4, 1921 – April 17, 2013), known professionally as Deanna Durbin, was a Canadian-American actress and singer active during The Golden Age of Hollywood in the 1930s and '40s. She was best known for her teenaged Girl Next Door roles in musical comedy films such as Three Smart Girls (1936), One Hundred Men and a Girl (1937), and That Certain Age (1938), although she eventually transitioned to more adult roles in such films as Lady on a Train (1945).

Born in Winnipeg, Durbin moved with her family to the United States at the age of two. She was married to Vaughn Paul, Felix Jackson, and Charles Henri David – the latter for nearly fifty years, from 1950 until her death. She had one daughter with Jackson and one son with David. She died in Paris, France in 2013, at the age of 91.
