David Richard Solberg, known professionally as David Soul (August 28, 1943 – January 4, 2024), was an American-British actor and singer best known for his role as Det. Ken Hutchinson in Starsky & Hutch (1975–79) and his hit singles "Don't Give Up on Us" (1976) and "Silver Lady" (1977).
He was married to Mirriam Russeth, actress Karen Carlson, Pattie Carnel Sherman, actress Julia Nickson, and Helen Snell and had six children.
