
David Richard Solberg, known professionally as David Soul (born August 28, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois), is an American-British actor and singer best known for his role as Det. Ken Hutchinson in Starsky & Hutch (1975–79) and his hit singles "Don't Give Up on Us" (1976) and "Silver Lady" (1977).
He has been married to Mirriam Russeth, actress Karen Carlson, Pattie Carnel Sherman, actress Julia Nickson, and Helen Snell and has six children.
