
Damon Kyle Wayans (born September 4, 1960 in New York City, New York) is an American comedian, actor, producer and writer. He is part of The Wayans Family of entertainers, first starting out on Saturday Night Live before being unceremoniously fired for improvising during a live sketch. He would then help his brother Keenen create the influential sketch comedy series In Living Color!, in which he would also perform and write for.
Wayans has also starred and film and televisions series such as Blankman, Major Payne, The Great White Hype, and My Wife and Kids. His son, Damon Wayans Jr., is also an actor and comedian.
