Cyril Chamberlain, (8 March 1909 — 5 December 1974), was a British character actor notable for his appearances in the Carry On, Doctor, and St. Trinian's film series.
His film debut came in 1939 in Ask a Policeman in an Uncredited Role. His film appearances were frequently small, and he would often be Typecast as authority figures such as policemen or sergeants. His biggest roles were as the main villain in The Embezzler and Tiger by the Tail.
During his career, he appeared in 139 films. He spent the final years of his life in retirement, restoring antique furniture.
He died at the age of 65.
