Barbara Shelley (13 February 1932 – 3 January 2021) was an English actress. Dubbed the "Queen of Hammer", she was a renowned Scream Queen and one of the most prolific performers in the Hammer Horror film series, appearing in eight in total.

She spent four years living in Italy in the mid-1950s, in which she appeared in Italian films, speaking Italian.

She also made guest appearances in numerous popular television shows of the '60s, '70s and '80s.
