
Armin Shimerman (born November 5, 1949 in Lakewood, New Jersey) is an American actor, voice actor and author.
A veteran of genre television and respected character actor, Shimerman is perhaps best-known for playing the Ferengi bartender Quark in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Principal Snyder in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Andrew Ryan in BioShock, and Dr. Nefarious in the Ratchet & Clank series.
He is married to Kitty Swink.
