Exalted is a comic book title produced by UDON Entertainment Corporation, based on the role-playing game Exalted. UDON published six issues of Exalted between 2005 and 2007. The series did poorly due to an erratic publication schedule and presentation of several in-game concepts. It is currently available for purchase in PDF and POD trade-paperback form from DriveThruRPG and Amazon.com.

Exalted follows a newly Exalted Eclipse caste named Kidale who finds himself adopted into an all-Solar Circle working out of Chiaroscuro. Trying to find out the source of a recent rise in Hungry Dead, the Circle investigates the ruins of a nearby Solar Tomb and struggles to avoid the attention of the Dragon-Blooded.

Its characters can be found in the Character Sheet for the Tabletop Game.

This work features examples of the following tropes:

  • Anyone Can Die: Kidale.
  • Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: Peleps Taguro.
  • The Atoner: Demetheus is implied to become this.
  • Blood Knight: Cathak Drogath is one of these. He just sucks at it.
  • The Cameo: Harmonious Jade (an Exalted Signature Character) makes two short appearances and gets talked about.
  • Clingy Jealous Boy: Taguro comes off like this to Aruna.
  • Dark Magical Girl: Aruna.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: A subtle example but Taguro's hatred of Drogath is probably so extreme at least in part because he's jealous of his relationship to Aruna.
  • Left Hanging: All of the characters fates after the comic ended except Kidale. We got a little feedback later.
  • Magic Skirt: Faka Kun's rather skimpy clothes seem glued to her body, despite the leaping and acrobatics she does, not to mention being thrown around by a Wyld Hunter during the final battle.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Faka Kun attracts the attention of the Wyld Hunt by assaulting a Dragonblooded in the first issue. She also does worse, according to her friends, by failing to kill him.
    • Demetheus feels this when he's tricked into killing Kidale.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: Both the Dragonblooded and Solars leave their battle feeling like they've lost.
  • Smug Snake: Deconstructed with Drogath as his attitude is to cover up he's considered a major embarrassment by everyone.
  • Yamato Nadeshiko: Aruna is the Dragon-Blooded version of this. She has a chariot pulled by SWANS.
