"Ultimate Secrets" is an encyclopedia about characters from the Ultimate Marvel universe, similar to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe. It complements the Official Handbook of the Ultimate Marvel Universe with the focus on less developed characters. It was released in 2008, right before Ultimatum. It is bundled as "Handbook answering all your questions concerning the Marvel Ultimate Universe from Bishop-Vulture".

It has no relation with the "Ultimate Secret" (in singular) miniseries, part of the Ultimate Galactus Trilogy.

• Armed with Canon: The Silver Surfer has two unrelated adaptations, one as the Silver Searcher, and another as the Silver Wings. It is explained by pointing that Gah Lak Tus likely modeled his servants after the Silver Searcher.

• Spoiled by the Format: This is an encyclopedia about comic book characters, so of course that they include spoilers without mercy and with no alerts.
• Shown Their Work: The encyclopedia is clearly well familiar with the storylines of the Ultimate Marvel universe.
