The Banshee is a Superhero from The Golden Age of Comic Books, published by Fox in Fantastic Comics #21-23 and V... Comics #1-2.

Jim O'donnell's father-in-law is killed by supervillain the Scorpion. Jim vows revenge, and takes on the guise of the Banshee to do so. After thwarting the Scorpion's plans, Jim continues his crimefighting career.

Not to be confused with the X-Men character, the horror film, the show or actual banshees
