Main Characters

    Milo
Portrayed by: Anton Starkman

The manager of the comic book store Warped!, and a comic book expert. He often acts as the most responsible for the complicated situations that he and his friends experience. He dreams of writing a graphic novel.

  • Affectionate Nickname: "Smilo", a nickname given by his girlfriend, Olivia.
  • Amusing Injuries: Most of the slapstick on the show comes on his end.
  • Bad Liar: Throughout "Sandwiched!", Milo pretends to like Blorphy (a ham-like character designed by Ruby) so he won't hurt Ruby's feeling about hating it, even though she actually didn't liked the design that much either.
  • Blue Is Heroic: In one episode, Ruby thinks Milo should wear more blue as she doesn't like how much he wears red.
  • Butt-Monkey: Very prone to getting hurt, even if most of his injuries are done by accident.
  • Consistent Clothing Style: Usually wears buttoned shirts over comics-themed shirts (some of which feature the Warped! logo).
  • Most Writers Are Writers: He's a graphic novel writer.
  • Official Couple: With Olivia.
  • Only Sane Man: Compared to everyone else, especially Ruby, as he tries to be the most responsible person.
  • Proud to Be a Geek: Especially during the pilot.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: In "Creeped!" whenever Ruby tries to scare him with a creepy doll.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: He came off as this in the pilot, due bragging about being an awesome employee, and felt threatened when Ruby wanted to get a job at Warped!.
  • Straight Man: To Ruby.

    Ruby
Portrayed by: Kate Godfrey

An eccentric and impulsive teen girl who starts working at the comic book store Warped! after moving to the city. Besides being an expert in comics like Milo, she is a good artist and helps him with his graphic novel by designing the characters.

  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: Gets easily distracted with things, which can often be the cause of an episode's conflict. For example, in "Finished!", while she was trying to look for a copy button, she ended up playing around with the printing machine, which makes it blow bubbles and play disco music. However, her distraction led to her accidentally shredding the remaining copy of the graphic novel.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: Despite being an oddball, Ruby is an excellent artist, and her talent helps Milo's goal of making a graphic novel.
  • The Chew Toy: Downplayed. While she doesn't get hurt as much as Milo, she occasionally had moments of injuries, like falling from hanging upside down and getting attacked by a bird while dumpster diving.
  • Eccentric Artist: She's very eccentric, but is actually a good artist, which helps Milo finish his graphic novel. One of her designs was a ham named Blorphy, which didn't impress Milo, but she didn't like it either.
  • Fangirl: In the crossover special "When Worlds Collide", she's a huge fan of Danger Force and got excited when they finally showed up.
  • Gamer Chick: Became one in "Challenged!" to help Milo beat his rival's record at Hamster Hazard after getting his hands injured.
  • Genki Girl: She's always in a good mood and tends to jump and clap around when something excites her.
  • The Ghost: Once per Episode, she will mention something that her friend Margo did "back home."
  • The Klutz: Usually breaks things or causes injuries to someone (usually Milo) by accident. Some episodes' situations are caused by her, such as having a boot stuck on her foot, accidentally hurting Milo's hands, attracting raccoons, and accidentally shredding the only copy of the graphic novel.
  • Master Actor: She often does voice impersonations in nearly every episode, as well as wears disguises as someone to fix a situation. This usually fools the adults, but Olivia notices her disguise once.
  • Nerdy Nasalness: Thanks to her actress' natural speaking voice.
  • Nice Girl: She's the nicest of the main cast.
  • Perpetual Smiler: Almost always seen with a smile.
  • Sweet Polly Oliver: A couple times ("Duped!" and "Plagiarized!").

    Darby
Portrayed by: Ariana Molkara

A friend of Milo and Ruby, who likes to dress up as different fictional characters.

  • Cosplay: Her main character trait. Hurley said best in the first episode:
Hurley: "Darby's always dressing up as different characters. I don't even think she owns normal clothes."
  • Eccentric Fashion Designer: She's planning to be one.
  • The Fashionista
  • Incredibly Long Note: Does this a few times. One episode had her hold long notes so much at a yogurt place that it became a major distraction for customers.
  • Nerd Glasses: She's a cosplayer who wears glasses.
  • Stalker with a Crush: Darby finds Carl attractive, despite being Milo's rival. Fortunately, she flirts with Carl to make sure he doesn't sabotage the game.

    Hurley
Portrayed by: Christopher Martinez

A friend of Milo and Ruby, who works at the pizzeria above the comic book store in the mall, though he often neglects his job.

  • Cordon Bleugh Chef: In one episode, he tried making blue sauce.
  • The Ditz: He's the least intelligent of the group.
  • Lazy Bum: He's not very competent at his job.
  • The Slacker
  • Token Minority: Out of the 4 main characters (if you don't count Wilson and Wren), he's the only one to not be white (as he's Hispanic).

Recurring Characters

    Wilson
Portrayed by: Milan Carter

The owner of Warped!, who is Milo and Ruby's boss.

  • Benevolent Boss: He treated Olivia this way in "Hired!". Though, he was willing to let Milo and Ruby take a day off in "Space-Conflicted!" to go to meet an actor.
  • Fanboy: He is a huge fan of Chet Donovan and got his wish when Chet gave him an autograph at the end of "Space-Conflicted!"
  • Mean Boss: Somewhat. He doesn't treat Milo and Ruby with much respect due to an awkward first impression, but surprisingly doesn't fire them whenever they make a mess at Warped!.
  • Second Episode Introduction: Did not appear until "Duped!", the third episode (although it's the fifth episode in production order). He basically replaced Owen, who only appeared in the pilot episode.

    Wren
Portrayed by: Makenzie Lee-Foster

A little girl who is often at the comic book store reading comics for a more mature audience.

  • Big Damn Heroes: In "Finished!", she actually saved the day by taking Milo's laptop to the repair shop, thus preventing the graphic novel from being completely erased.
  • Deadpan Snarker: The most sarcastic character on the show.
  • Fake Guest Star: She has appeared in every single episode since the pilot, with Space-Conflicted! being the only other episode where she is absent. Unlike Milan Carter (whom Wilson only appeared in 7 episodes, but gets credited in the main cast if he appears), Makenzie Lee-Foster is still considered to be a guest star and not a main star.
  • Sassy Black Woman: Often makes snarky comments, usually directed at Milo and Hurley.
  • Second Episode Introduction: Although not a main cast member, she didn't appear until the second episode, "Challenged!" and is present in nearly every episode since then.

    Carl
Portrayed by: Parker Pannell

Milo's rival who works at the sporting goods store.

  • Full-Name Basis: He is usually addressed as "Carl from the sporting goods store."
  • Jerkass: Arguably the most self-centered character on the show.
  • Sitcom Arch-Nemesis: For Milo.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: Thinks very highly of himself, especially to outsmart Milo. He only wanted to enter the talent show for competitive reasons, not knowing it's being done for charity.
  • Verbal Tic: Often says loser.

    Olivia
Portrayed by: Emma Nasfell

Milo's girlfriend who works at the yogurt place.

    Arnold
Portrayed by: Josh Reiter

A teen boy who is a magician.
