Leylin Farlier
Main character, used to be a scientist in a futuristic Earth. Got reincarnated when the reactor in the facility he was working on blew up.
- Benevolent Boss: Even though he often displays blatant disregard to the wellbeing of other people, he is not unnecessarily cruel to his servants. With his slave Anna, he notes how other magi would use slaves as sex toys before disposing them as lab rats. Leylin does have sexual intercourse with Anna, but rather than sacrificing her in his experiments, he later lets her free and be in charge of the property he built up in Extreme Night City before taking his leave.
- Villain Protagonist : Barely any better than the other magi surrounding him, he has very few qualms to do what it takes to achieve his goals. Whether it is torturing prisoners to research souls or sacrificing ordinary citizens to uncover a warlock's abandoned stronghold, he has very few moral qualms influencing his actions throughout the story.

Neutral Evil : Fits him to a T. - Elemental Powers
- Casting a Shadow : His main element is darkness
- Playing with Fire : He uses quite a lot of fire magic too. One notable example includes his use of explosive potions against his opponents.
- An Ice Person : Acquires some minor powers in it after consuming the Artic Scorpion
