The Toons

    Resistance Ranger Rain

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2722.png

Resistance Ranger Rain is a fox working for the Toon Resistance. No matter what, she just can't seem to stop herself from getting kidnapped by the Cogs from sneaking around by herself.
  • Call on Me: Helping her out in the V.P. will provide you with IOUs, which call both her and her many friends in Toontown to buff your gags.
  • Damsel in Distress:
    • Finding her is the end goal of the Toontown Central taskline, as she gets kidnapped by the Derrick Man after investigating his front business.
    • She also gets captured again in the VP fight, replacing the many toons that could get kidnapped in the original game.
  • Status Buff: Her IOU provides a flat +15 damage to the next gag used by both the IOU summoner and recipient, including Lure knockback and Toon-Up. This makes her a surprisingly good IOU to use in Lure setups.

    Resistance Ranger Rocky

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2723.png

"I think I should just take a month's vacation during Halloween..."
Resistance Ranger Rocky Rhode is a dog who works for the Toon Resistance who just seems to keep getting himself in trouble with Count Erclaim and his entourage of contractors. He is a minor character in-game, being another Toon at the Brrrgh's headquarters, but is often a focal point in the comics.
  • Born Unlucky: Every Halloween (and recently April Toons), it seems like more and more people appear just to torment him.

    Travis the Trash Cat

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/travis_16.png
"I pick up Cog parts, I eat your unwanted furniture, shoot I even take any extra Gags you have layin' around."
Travis the Trash Cat is the closest thing Toontown has to a janitor, picking up after all the mess Toons (and battled Cogs) leave behind. He resides in a trash can within the Toontown Central playground, and also makes an appearance as a delete button.
  • Ascended Extra: In the original Toontown, he was merely just a delete icon. In Corporate Clash, however, he's turned into an actual character that Toons can interact with for a few tasks, one of which being the one he gives you. He even gets the honors of appearing in a mini-comic!
  • Consummate Liar: According to Flippy, he's always tricking Toons into putting in a good word for him, playing up a story about how he's contractually obliged to do his job.

    Public Relations Representative

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3595.png
Insane Intermediary

"Wasn't that- wasn't that- wasn't that fun- funny?"
The Public Relations Representative (real name: Winston Byrd) is the boss of the Ye Olde Toontowne taskline. He is a Level 10 Sellbot Manager with 1200 maximum health.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Originally didn't have the Electronic Speech Impediment described below. He was also called the Director of Public Relations and looked like a generic Skelecog.
  • Electronic Speech Impediment: Stutters quite often during his sentences, as he has been neglected for a long time.
  • Extra Turn: His cheat allows him to attack twice in one turn. His second attack is always Glower Power.
  • Go Mad from the Isolation: To give you an idea of how long he's been stuck down in the dungeon, he mentions John as being one of his bosses. John Robolts was the CJ, the original Lawbot boss before the rework.
  • Hypnotic Eyes: Downplayed. He SEEMS to have these, but they don't actually do anything.
  • Mythology Gag: Somehow mentions his old version (Director of Public Relations) during his last words.
  • Please, Don't Leave Me: One of their lines for toons surrendering, as well as him making a toon go sad, has him plead for the toon to stay.
  • You Can Barely Stand: Inverted. Remember how it says above he has 1200 maximum health? He's been down in the dungeon so long he's fell into a state of disrepair, only having around half of that when you start the fight. He is also incapable of healing, meaning that the maximum health is only really there for story purposes.

    Factory Foreman

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/factoryforemanrender.png

"We've got work to do, gentlemen."

The Factory Foreman is the facility manager of the Sellbot Factory. He is a level 11 Sellbot Manager with 240 HP.

  • Skewed Priorities: Seems more annoyed about having to do paperwork than the fact that a cog just died in front of him. Then again, Death Is Cheap.
  • Turns Red: His Worker's Compensation cheat activates when another cog is defeated in his presence, healing him and giving him a stackable damage boost.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: His line whenever his Worker's Compensation cheat activates is "Do you have any idea how much paperwork I will have to file after this?"
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: His reaction to another cog dying around him? A mere Facepalm.

    Bellringer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bellringerrender5.png
Eavesdropping Earpopper
Click here to see his pre-1. 7 appearance.

"Let me chime in here..."

The Bellringer (real name: Benjamin Biggs) is a regional manager in Daffodil Gardens, found roaming the streets. He is a Level 13 Sellbot Manager with 1800 health.

  • Alliterative Name: Benjamin Biggs.
  • But Now I Must Go: He left his previous job as a bellboy because he felt like he was outgrowing his position.
  • Custom Uniform: In the 1.7 update, his suit was mildly changed to have a closed collar.
  • Evil Brit: Named after Big Ben, frequently drops the "h", and uses "Cheerio!" as a goodbye.
  • Explosive Overclocking: Destroying the Cogs that he overcharges causes them to combust right on the spot, damaging everyone in battle and frequently setting off a chain reaction as well as weakening his Healing Bell.
  • Healing Boss: His one cheat involves healing every Cog in the battle for 133% of their max health.note  Sounds simple, right? Just take out the other Cogs!... Until you realise he heals himself for 238 health if there isn't anyone else to heal.note
  • Meaningful Name: Benjamin's full name comes from the Big Ben Clock Tower.
  • Motor Mouth: He talks a lot. Not in a speedy matter, though.
  • Non-Human Head: He's got a bell for a head.
  • Private Detective: Well, not exactly, but Jennifer describes him as one since he likes picking up on gossip and looking for clues.
  • Reputation Apathy: He has a knack for gossip and will perk his ears up for any rumors. This got him into trouble with the Plutocrat, as he caught word he was badmouthing him.
Plutocrat: So, you's the mug who's been slandering my good name...
Bet ya feel real good about yaself, don'tcha?
  • Terms of Endangerment: Has a tendency to call people "love". Downplayed, as he doesn't seem to do this maliciously, and it's a part of his British shtick.

    Prethinker

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3597_6.png
Boastful Brainiac

"Oh, don't worry. I've thought ahead."

The Prethinker (real name: Brian) is a regional manager found in the schoolhouse's basement in Toontown Central. He is a level 12 Sellbot manager with 1000 health.

  • Artificial Brilliance: He is capable of dodging your attacks accordingly if you overuse them during his fight.
  • Custom Uniform: His uniform is a different shade of purple compared to the normal Sellbot suit.
  • Loners Are Freaks: Jennifer's interviewer notes label him as "irritating" right off the bat, and he is described as being socially inept on his Cogs.INK page. He's so unlikeable that he needed to reprogram the Desk Jockeys to be his friends instead of having other employed Cogs with him in his battle.
  • My Brain Is Big: Downplayed. While he does brag about his intellect, his Cogs.INK page shows that it is mostly reserved for useless trivia facts.
  • Only One Name: He's Brian. Just… Brian. Though his Cogs.Ink profile implies his last name starts with a B.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: In spades. While he boasts that the interviewer could already tell from word of mouth that he is the smartest out of everybody, his Cogs.Ink profile notes that he has had no prior employment history before the interview.
  • The Smart Guy: He fancies himself as this, frequently pointing to his own intelligence. This doesn't stop him from making castles that put him in harms' way.
  • Stereotypical Nerd: His large eyes resemble cartoonish glasses, and as mentioned above, he is also described as being socially inept. He also mentioned his "Creddit karma" during his interview.
  • Who Even Needs a Brain?: Receives this at the end of his fight due to the stress of the battle.

    Multislacker

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3598.png
Professional Procrastinator

"My dad says that the union forces us to take breaks."

The Multislacker (real name: Cathal Ray Toby Bravecog) is a regional manager found within the Sellbot Headquarters of Daffodil Gardens. He is a Level 24 Sellbot Manager with 3200 health.

  • Brilliant, but Lazy: Downplayed. His Cogs.INK profile claims that he is "highly intelligent when adequately motivated", but as the name suggests, he is quite lazy.
  • Comically Lop Sided Rivalry: With Pacesetter. He doesn't seem to care or even notice it.
  • Healing Boss: If the Multislacker is not attacked while there are other Cogs in the battle, he will heal the other Cogs, possibly overcharging them. Note how it says "attacked" and not "targeted", meaning this also activates if your gags miss against him.
  • Nepotism: Practically the only reason he got the job is due to his relation to Allan Bravecog, who is his father and the Senior Vice President.
  • Non-Human Head: A TV head, to be exact.
  • Ultimate Job Security: In his own words:
Multislacker: (dodging a Pink Slip) "Sorry, no way my dad's letting that happen."note

    Pacesetter

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2951.png
Expeditious Egotist
Overclocked!

The Pacesetter (real name: Graham Ness Payser) is a regional manager in Drowsy Dreamland, found at Fast Asleep! All Star Suites. He is a level 66 Sellbot Manager with 12500 health.

  • Cool Shades: He wears cool sunglasses, which can potentially be acquired for player Toons as a Rare Random Drop.
  • Comically Lop Sided Rivalry: With Multislacker. After realizing he has a father who works at the company they're both applying for, Pacesetter gets competitive around him.
  • Damage-Sponge Boss: Barring contractorsnote , Pacesetter has the highest amount of health in the game out of any Cog.
  • Difficulty by Acceleration: Constantly speeds up the battle, giving you less time to pick a gag, less time to process his other cheats, and less time to take a breather while attack animations play out.
  • Money Dumb: Implied. See this exchange from the official comic "A Meeting Of Two Minds":
Firestarter, on the phone with Pacesetter: Oh, uh. I said do you perhaps want to get food after the interview?
Pacesetter: As long you're paying. Of course don't make it sit-in.
  • Perpetual Smiler: The very definition of an award-winning smile.
  • Pretty Boy: Pacesetter is noticeably more conventionally attractive compared to his fellow Cogs. The majority of his interviewer's notes on his Cogs.Ink page consists of her fawning over how gorgeous he is.
  • Ridiculously Human Robots: Appearance wise, he is one of, if not - the most human-looking of the Cogs.
  • Rockers Smash Guitars: He opens the second phase of his fight by playing a guitar solo and then smashing his guitar.
  • Schmuck Bait: Passing on the first two rounds provokes him into activating Overclocked! early, setting the battle to maximum speed.
  • Simple, yet Awesome: Compared to the previous Kudos Manager, the Chainsaw Consultant, Pacesetter's cheats are nowhere near as confusing to wrap your head around on a first run-through. However, the cheats he does have turn the tide of the battle heavily in his favor.
  • Signature Instrument: His guitar, The Shredder, which he is shown to have multiple copies of in his closet. He also uses one when activating Overclocked! mode, which he promptly breaks.
  • Smug Super: Has an ego large enough to fill Cashbot HQ twice over. Considering how tough his fight is, it's safe to say he's more than justified in having it.
  • Speed Echoes: Gains these during Overclocked!, lasting for the rest of the fight.
  • Super-Speed: The whole gimmick of his fight, and on his Cogs.INK profile page, it states he was the only postman in his previous job because he was fast enough to do the jobs of 5 people.
  • Those Two Guys: With Firestarter. The two are often shown together in promotional material, each has an in-game quote referencing the other by name, and one of the posters in Pacesetter's room depicts him and Firestarter together. Word of God has confirmed that the two are in a relationship.
  • Unreadably Fast Text: Overclocked! shows as a status effect. You can read it, but considering how unbelievably fast the battle is at that point, you're essentially passing by doing so.

    Senior Vice President

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3600.png
Marketing Maestro

"It's a clearance sale! All Toons must go!"

The Senior Vice President (real name: Allan Bravecog) is the head of the Sellbot Department of C.O.G.S. Inc., stationed on top of the Sellbot Towers in Daffodil Gardens' Sellbot HQ.

  • Nepotism: Strongly helped his son, the Multislacker, get a job at the company via giving him cards to read off of and writing his personal statement. He is also the one who has issued all of his warnings and apologized to the company on his behalf.
  • The Pawns Go First: He summons several Cogs and Skelecogs before you could properly fight him.
  • Wake-Up Call Boss: The Senior V.P. is quite a step-up from the previous playgrounds' boss fights, being the first one with an active round as well as having a ton of Cogs to throw at you that, unlike the previous fights, you have to defeat. Said cogs also tend to be higher level than any previous ones you have thought (barring Kudos managers), having a guaranteed Level 13 at the very start as well as an entire round of Skelecogs, who have different properties in Corporate Clash.

Cashbots

    Mint Supervisor

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mintsupervisorrender_0.png

"Insurance can save a Suit."

The Mint Supervisor is the facility manager of the Cashbot Mints. He is a level 13 Cashbot Manager with 320 HP.

  • Healing Boss: As long as there are other cogs in the battle, the Supervisor's Life Insurance cheat will activate if he's not at full health, completely healing him and giving him a stackable +5 damage boost.

    Duck Shuffler

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3601.png
Roulette Rigamarole

"Deal me IN!"
The Duck Shuffler (real name: Buck Ruffler) is a Regional Manager in Toontown Central, found roaming the streets. He is a Level 5 Cashbot Manager with 200 health.
  • Fair-Play Villain: He still showers the toons with jellybeans when rolling 3 beans, even though he could very easily not give them anything.
  • Fang Thpeak: Pronounces his s's as th's.
  • The Gambler: According to his disciplinary record on Cogs.ink, he was given a budget to develop projects within his area. Within 3 days, he gambled it all away.note
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: It is possible for the Duck Shuffler to defeat himself by rolling Bar.
  • Laughing Mad:
    • His Valentoon's card depicts him as laughing hysterically.
    • One of his friend request denials is also of him being busy laughing.
  • Lucky Seven: Being a mad gambler, these come naturally to him.
    • His employee ID is 77777.
    • He was noted as being 7 minutes late to his interview.
    • One of the possible rolls he can get is sevens, healing everyone (Toons, other Cogs, and himself) in the battle for 7 health.
    • His default slot outcome when spawning in is three sevens.
  • Toothy Bird: Has visible fangs in his bill.

    Treekiller

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3602.png
Wretched Woodsplitter

"CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Let's Hurreh this up!"
The Treekiller (real name: Spruce Campbell) is a Regional Manager in Acorn Acres, found roaming in the streets. He is a Level 24 Cashbot Manager with 3500 health.
  • Damage-Increasing Debuff: Has one of the highest in the game, causing every Toon in battle to take 75% more damage.
  • Ecocidal Antagonist: He's a COGS Inc. worker who really likes cutting down his trees.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: Is good friends with the Chainsaw Consultant, the other regional manager in Acorn Acres. Chip even tried to get him onboarded to the Deforester Force, yet couldn't due to department issues.
    • Chip also sees Spruce as a brother figure, but Spruce has yet to know about this.
  • Mighty Lumberjack: He used to be a lumberjack Suit before working for C.O.G.S. Inc.. And as Jennifer puts it…
Jennifer: When he told me he was a lumberjack I expected, like... a charming bearded suit in flannel, not... this? He's rude and NOT charming at all.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: He is named after American actor Bruce Campbell.
  • Oral Fixation: He has a whopping tree log hanging in his mouth. He even chokes on it in his Valentoon's Day card.
  • Speech Impediment: Because of the log stuck in his mouth, he has a funny way of speaking.

    Plutocrat

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3603.png
Galactic Godfather

"Ice these deadbeats for me, will ya?"

The Plutocrat (real name: Cosmo Kuiper) is a Regional Manager in The Brrrgh, found at Mozzarella Styx Pizzeria. He is a Level 38 Cashbot Manager with 6000 health.

  • Cigar Chomper: On his Cogs.ink page, it is stated he never takes his cigar out of his mouth, even to talk.
  • Custom Uniform: His suit color is a blackish blue rather than the usual Cashbot green.
  • The Don: To the point that "Don" is listed as one of his honorifics on his Cogs.ink page.
  • An Ice Person: His cheats involve freezing both the room and the toons, causing them to attack after the cogs along with disabling any Toon-Up Unites.
  • Literally Shattered Lives: Cogs hit with Squirt during his battle become frozen instead of soaked. If a frozen cog is defeated, it will shatter and deal damage to any adjacent cogs, as well as popping the Plutocrat's Market Bubble if he's adjacent.
  • Mister Big: Is easily the shortest out of the new managers introduced in 1.3. Especially noticeable as every other Cog in his fight towers over him.
  • The Pawns Go First: Sends three of his Satellite Investors to fight the Toons while he sits at his desk.
  • Rambunctious Italian: He's a pizzeria owner, with one of his music tracks being called "Cosa Nostra". He's also quite irritable, having his Satellite Investors chase down the Bellringer in one Twitter mini-comic due to his comments betraying the respect he believes he deserves.
  • Villain Respect: He considers letting the Toons join his crew after they destroy the first three Satellite Investors.

    The Satellite Investors

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2322.jpeg
Galactic Goonsnote

"Stick around and we'll put ya on ice, Toon."

The Satellite Investors are a group of Cashbot Managers found assisting the Plutocrat in his fight. The Satellite Investors consist of:

Styx, a Level 20 Cashbot Manager with 1300 health.

Nix, a Level 21 Cashbot Manager with 1500 health.

Hydra, a Level 22 Cashbot Manager with 1700 health.

Kerberos, A Level 23 Cashbot Manager with 1800 health.

Charon, a Level 25 Cashbot Manager with 2000 health.

Unlike the Litigation Team, the Satellite Investors do not have any particular synergies with each other depending on who you get. You also must fight all five in any given Plutocrat fight.

  • Cooldown Manipulation: Nix is capable of applying a 3 round boss reward cooldown to any Toon, restricting the use of IOUs, counterfeits, cease and desists, pink slips, and most importantly, unites.
  • Enemy Summoner: Styx's cheat Sitdown summons another Cog, which he will then drain the health of for himself. This is the only way that more Cogs will join the fight in phase 1 of the battle.
  • Odd Names Out: Unlike most Cogs, they are not named after business terminology, instead being named after Pluto's moons.
  • Status Buff: Hydra's cheat, Kick Up, gives a permanent, stacking 10% damage boost to a Satellite Investor that is not himself (unless there are no other Satellite Investors in the battle). Ghost Payroll also provides a damage boost to them in the first phase of the fight, being 30% when there are two left and 60% when there is only one left.

    Chief Financial Officer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3620.png
Monumental Mogul

"This isn't legal tender!"

The Chief Financial Officer (real name: Chris P. Dolair) is the head of the Cashbot Department of C.O.G.S. Inc., lurking inside the Cashbot Vault in Mezzo Melodyland's Cashbot HQ.

  • Out of Focus: Compared to the other department bosses, he doesn’t exactly have much of a role in the main storyline at the moment.

Lawbots

    Head Attorney

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/headattorneyrender.png

"Now for my counter arguement."

The Head Attorney is the facility manager of the Lawbot Lawfices. He is a level 16 Lawbot Manager with 465 HP.

  • Counter-Attack: If he takes combo damage and survives, he will object to your combo. If sustained, he will heal off the combo damage and deal 1/3rd of it to all toons in an unavoidable counterattack, though there is a small chance for his objection to be overruled, in which case nothing happens.

    Mouthpiece

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3605_6.png
Rusty Ringleader

"Don't mouth off to me, young Toon!"
The Mouthpiece (real name: Belle Dama) is a regional manager in Mezzo Melodyland, found roaming the streets. She is a Level 16 Lawbot Manager with 2200 health.
  • Affably Evil: Besides fighting, she never shows any real hostility to the toons.
  • Counter-Attack: Mouthpiece only does her extra attack if any of the Toons attacked.
  • Extra Turn: If any of the Cogs in battle are attacked, Mouthpiece will be able to do a second attack which is always a rolodex.
  • Granny Classic: She fully fits the bill here, acting as sweet as you can be in a fight. She even bakes cookies out of ginger tar and crude morsels!
  • Never Mess with Granny: Since she's a miniboss, this is a given.
  • Sweet Baker: Downplayed in that she's still an antagonist, but she's one of the more affable Cogs, and is shown to love baking cookies and sharing them with other Cogs to the point of it being the main gimmick of her fight.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: When defeated, she can potentially say "Is this any way to treat your elders? Hmph. So rude."

    Rainmaker

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rainmakerrender_1.png
Sorrowful Sympathist
Click here to see her pre-1. 7 appearance.

The Rainmaker (real name: Misty Monsoon) is a regional manager in Barnacle Boatyard, found at the lighthouse pier on Lighthouse Lane. She is a Level 16 Lawbot Manager with 2500 health.

  • Alliterative Name: Misty Monsoon.
  • Battle in the Rain: During her fight, it is constantly raining.
  • The Eeyore: Downplayed, as she does try her best to be positive at times, but she is a pretty sad Cog. She is called the Rainmaker for a reason. What with the things she has gone through however, it is justified why she would be so pessimistic.
  • Extra Turn: She starts out being able to attack twice per turn. She gains another extra attack after every 2 weather phases or once Monsoon has ended.
  • Hoist by Her Own Petard: With Heavy Rain, it is possible for Rainmaker to zap herself to death. Downplayed, however, since Heavy Rain's damage depends on how much damage the Toons deal.
  • Meaningful Appearance: Her hair is made of cloud, and the two blue lines make it look like she's crying.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Downplayed, but before the 1.7 update, the Rainmaker was notably rendered with a more feminine and "shapely" body than any of the other Cogs. Shyster is the only other one that comes close.
  • Not-So-Badass Longcoat: The 1.7 update has her wearing a raincoat over her suit similar to one she had in her concept art.
  • Sheathe Your Sword: The Toons are capable of "sparing" her (not attacking her for three rounds), with her speaking up about her circumstance if all three turns are played out.
  • Smoke Out: One of her weather phases if a thick cloud of fog which obscures where she is. She also pulls this at the end of her fight if the Toons choose to spare her.
  • Stalker with a Crush: She is this to William Boar, the Derrick Man. According to her Cogs.INK profile page, several harassment complaints have been filed against her by him, and in an old yearbook photo released with the conclusion of the 1.3. ARG, she is shown asking for her picture to be put next to his. Downplayed, as William's reports were only hyperbole. Or at least are implied to be.
  • Tragic Villain: The Rainmaker just wants to be left alone and had a piano dropped on her when she tried to befriend Barnacle Bessie, and her Cog attacks aren't always under control.
Rainmaker: Those other Suits have hurt me too.
They've hurt me in ways that you wouldn't understand.
Maybe someday, I'll share some of that pain with someone like you.
  • Weather Manipulation: As Jennifer puts it, "control" is a bit of a stretch, but she is capable to manipulate the weather around her. Plays a key part in her fight, where the weather changes the circumstances of battle.

    Witch Hunter

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3607_8.png
Mob Master

"Fellow Suits, YOU may be next!"

The Witch Hunter (real name: Prester Virgil) is a regional manager in Ye Olde Toontowne, found on top of one of the towers in the playground. He is a Level 20 Lawbot Manager with 3450 health.

  • Extra Turn: Provides this to every other Cog in the battle whenever he activates his Mob Mentality cheat.
  • Playing with Fire: In addition to having the Hot Air attack, he has two cheats which involve setting a random toon (or all toons) ablaze, causing them to take damage every turn.
  • Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: A fair chunk of his dialogue can be difficult to understand due to his affinity to use big words. Even Jennifer commented on not being able to fully understand him.

    Judy

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2721_7.png

"Do you have an appointment with Ms. Morsecode?"

Judy Judkins is a Level 30 Lawbot Manager as well as the secretary for the C.L.O., residing in the C.L.O. lobby in Lawbot HQ. Unlike most cogs, she is unable to be fought, and instead gives you directives to promote your executive Lawbot suit.

  • Odd Name Out: She is called by her real name, rather than her suit name.

    The Litigation Team

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2325.jpeg
Crooked Counselorsnote

"I've survived the brutality of the Outback. You are nothing."
Litigator

"You think I can't read what you say?"
Stenographer

"Case closed."
Case Manager

"Mess with the goat, you get the horns!"
Scapegoat

The Litigation Team is a group of Lawbot Managers found in the Overclocked Chief Legal Officer fight. Hired in order to help the C.L.O. deal with her Toon problem, the team consists of four members:

The Litigator (real name: Mundie Mudsnapper), a Level 40 Lawbot Manager with 4250 health.

The Stenographer (real name: Courtney Case), a Level 35 Lawbot Manager with 4000 health.

The Case Manager (real name: Barry Brief), a Level 35 Lawbot Manager with 3750 health.

The Scapegoat (real name: Kilo Kidd), a Level 30 Lawbot Manager with 4500 health.

They are split between both sides of the fight, being randomly paired together with great (or from your perspective, terrible) synergies.

  • Counter-Attack: One of the activation methods for Litigator's Snap cheat is being soaked, thus putting out his flame.
  • Damage-Sponge Boss: Technically, they all qualify, as you have to take out both members you're dealt (assuming the other side doesn't lose against their pair) adding up to about ~8000 health every time. However, Scapegoat fully embraces being a damage sponge. Not only does he have the most health (despite being the lowest level), he is also able to absorb damage meant for other Cogs while calm (effectively extending their health) and takes 30% less damage while he is enraged.
  • Healing Boss: Case Manager's insurance plan is capable of healing both himself as well as other Cogs in the battle (including the other Litigation Team member he is paired with). He can even end up overcharging them, if you're not careful!
  • One-Hit Kill: Stenographer is capable of killing a max laff Toon in a single hit if she is not killed before her Court Costs cheat rises too high.
  • Turns Red: If one team member dies, the other enters a "desperation" phase where they gain another round of lure resistance as well as a 40% damage increase.

    Chief Legal Officer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3604.png
Judicious Jurist

"Enough of this incessant noise!"

Following the departure of the Chief Justice, The Chief Legal Officer (real name: Diane Morsecode) is the new head of the Lawbot Department of C.O.G.S. Inc., re-educating her employees in the Executive Lawfice in The Brrrgh's Lawbot HQ.

  • Crazy-Prepared: Before the toons are able to use the sound evidence they gathered, the C.L.O. activates the security system, creating a round of virtual skelecogs you have to fight.
"All good businesses know to prepare for any situation."

Bossbots

    Derrick Man

Devoted Driller

"You Toons have such unrefined tastes."

The Derrick Man (real name: William Boar) is the boss of the Toontown Central taskline. He is a Level 5 Bossbot Manager with 100 health.

  • Flunky Boss: Will always start the fight with at least one other Cog alongside him, possibly including a literal Flunky.
  • No Ontological Inertia: Defeating him will cause all of the other Cogs in the fight to fly off with him when he leaves.
  • Only Sane Man: By far one of the most serious Cogs in all of Toontown, to the point where one of Rain's jokes causes him to take 10 damage before the fight's even started. He's also one of the first to run away after being defeated instead of exploding like most Cogs do.
  • Warm-Up Boss: The first main taskline Manager a player can encounter, and by far the easiest. It's not difficult to beat him before he's even unleashed a single attack with a full party due to how low his health is, notably even being lower than the Toontown Regional Manager, Duck Shuffler, who has 200 health.

    Club President

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/clubpresidentrender.png

"You've done great work today. Here's an extra tip."

The Club President is the facility manager of the Bossbot Golf Courses. He is a level 18 Bossbot Manager with 600 HP.

  • Healing Boss: If one of his Autocaddies is lured, we will use his Extra Tip cheat to not only heal them, but unlure them and allow them to attack. If the Club President is also lured, he will unlure himself and still be able to attack afterwards.
  • Uniformity Exception: Is notably the only facility manager thus far that isn't truly a skelecog.

    Firestarter

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3609.png
Apprehensive Arsonist

"Let me turn up the heat..."

The Firestarter (real name: Flint Bonpyre) is a Regional Manager in The Brrrgh, found roaming the streets. He is a Level 20 Bossbot Manager with 3350 health.

  • Fiery Stoic: He has fire powers and is also one of the more timid characters, to the point where Pacesetter encourages him to stop letting people walk all over him.
  • Gentle Giant: For a robot modeled after a firefighter, he isn't as imposing as he looks. At least not when fighting him.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: His barnburner cheat deals damage to everyone in the fight, including himself. Naturally, this means he can defeat himself with it if he's low enough health. He even has special defeat lines for this situation.
  • Playing with Fire: Almost every single attack and cheat of his involves smoke or fire in some way. The only exception being Power Trip.
  • Those Two Guys: With Pacesetter. The two are often shown together in promotional material, each has an in-game quote referencing the other by name, and in-universe, the two composed Firestarter's fight theme together. Word of God has confirmed that the two are in a relationship.

    Featherbedder

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3610_3.png
Soundless Sleeper

"I'm tired."

The Featherbedder (real name: Tawney C. Esta) is a Regional Manager in Drowsy Dreamland, found roaming the streets. They are a Level 30 Bossbot Manager with 3800 health.

  • Contrived Coincidence: The 2023 C.O.O "fight" features one of these for them. Tawney had been sad ever since their favorite radio host from Suitopia FM, Dana S. Charme, quit to pursue a new opportunity in the corporate sector. C.O.G.S decided to track Dana down, intending to make them a monetary offer to return to being a radio host... but Dana just so happened to be the Director of Public Affairs, and due to the expensive, time-consuming onboarding process, the effort was moot. They did, however, arrange for Featherbedder to meet Dana, and the two hit it off.
  • Counter-Attack: The "soundless" part of their trailer subtitle is quite literal. Using Sound will invoke Insomnia, which can let the Featherbedder attack you up to 4 times. Considering they do significantly more damage than the napping Cogs, this can quickly lead to a full team wipe.
  • Sleepyhead: Quite funny, since they're an owl.

    Major Player

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2452.png
Medley Monstrosity

"Sorry babe, that's not enough— I don't slow dance."

The Major Player (real name: Dave Brubot) is a regional manager in Mezzo Melodyland, found at the Musical Master of Melody. He is a level 28 Bossbot Manager with 4444 health.

  • Affably Evil: Despite fighting the toons, he is legitimately kind towards them, and doesn’t hold any ill will towards them.
  • Audience Participation: Happens in-universe in his fight, where he summons members of the audience to join in on the fight. It should be noted that there are only 48 members of the audience, and while the fight isn't expected to go on long enough to involve all of them, if the Major Player tries to summon a 49th, the game will crash.
  • Cool Shades: Wears quite a nice pair, and definitely has his cool moments.
  • Graceful Loser: Doesn't seem upset at all about losing their battle.
  • Metal Muncher: According to a blog post, he once ate 20,000 cogbucks worth of quarters.
  • Named After Somebody Famous: His name references Dave Brubeck, a renowned American jazz pianist and composer.
  • One-Hit Kill: In the second phase of his fight, missing the first input of his matching minigame deals 999 damage, the most in the game.
  • Summon Backup Dancers: Phase 2 of his fight has him summon his co-stars in the Dave Brubot Quartet, 3 Level 12 Executive Mr. Hollywoods, to dance alongside him.
  • Verbal Tic: Quite frequently says "babe", to the point that it is the only word on his Valentoon's card.
  • Victory Fakeout: After seemingly being defeated in Phase 1, the toons do their victory dance, only for him to walk out of the elevator unscathed and fly over to the stage for Phase 2.
Major Player: "Hit the floor babe, disco ain't dead, and neither am I!"

    Chainsaw Consultant (SPOILERS UNMARKED)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3618.png
Temperamental Terminator
PERSONALITY OVERRIDE ACTIVATED

"I'm kind of busy right now, can you go away?"
Chainsaw Consultant
"ALL RAM CLEARED. OFFENSIVE DIVISION AT MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE."
Chainsaw Consultant, under the effects of the override

The Chainsaw Consultant (real name: Chip Revvington) is a regional manager in Acorn Acres, found at Cut to the Chase! Logging Co.. He is a Level 50 Bossbot Manager with 12000 health.

SELF-DEMONSTRATION PROCEDURE REQUESTED.

  • all lowercase letters: With the exception of the final line before he collapses, Chip himself speaks in lowercase letters while trying to resist the override.
  • Bad Boss: Because of the override, Chip now fires practically every employee that comes into sight. It's gotten to the point that in an encoded memo by a Yesman, he states how he has to say NO.
  • Be Careful What You Wish For: Applied for a management position after providing risk assessments to the company. However, his promotion also led to him becoming the guinea pig for a piece of experimental hardware called the override.
  • Brainwashed and Crazy: The override is this, turning him from a suit that's somewhat humble to the Toons that so desperately want a fight out of him to a highly efficient, employee-terminating monster.
  • Caps Lock: The override speaks entirely within capital letters.
  • Chainsaw Good: Surprisingly, he only tries to pull this at the end of his fight when there are no other options left. Ultimately subverted, as he immediately collapses once the Toons dodge.
  • Damage-Increasing Debuff: If a Level 20+ Executive Cog or all of the cogs in Chain Link are defeated, Chainsaw Consultant will suffer from Kick Back, which increases the amount of damage he takes for a few rounds.
  • Damage Over Time: If the Chainsaw Consultant is incapable of using any other cheats in Phase 2, he will default to using Spark Plug, which will have a Toon take 40 damage over the course of 2 rounds.
  • Fighting from the Inside: During Phase 2 of his battle, Chip tries to resist the override, with his lowest RPM cheat having him interrupt his own attack. He even gives hints of what sets off certain cheats during that phase.
Chainsaw Consultant: (activating Scabbard) DECREASED- you- OFFENS- need to- OFFENSIVE PUSH AGAIN- destroy- AGAINST FODD- them- FODDER DETECTED.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: Is this to Spruce Campbell, the Treekiller. He describes him as like a brother to him and desperately doesn't want him to find out about the override, as well as previously advocating for him to be given a position in the deforester force.
  • Human Cannonball: You know how you can use Pink Slips to fire a Cog? Well, he can too! He can even fire the whole group of Cogs at every Toon in the battle!
  • Jekyll & Hyde: Downplayed. While the Chainsaw Consultant ultimately is on the opposing side to the Toons, he gives the Toons the opportunity to walk away. By contrast, the override wishes to destroy the Toons by any means necessary.
  • Lack of Empathy: The override views every employee in the fight as completely expendable, and is more than willing to fire them at the Toons just for a chance at victory.
Chainsaw Consultant: (activating Offboarding) "DAMAGED EMPLOYEE IS NO LONGER OF VALUE TO THE COMPANY."
  • Madness Mantra: Not so much himself, but the description of Deadwood (his 20,000 RPM cheat in Phase 1) is this.
    YOU'RE FIRED YOU'RE FIRED YOU'RE FIRED YOU'RE FIRED YOU'RE FIRED YOU'RE FIRED YOU'RE FIREDnote
  • Mind-Control Eyes: When under the effects of the override, his eyes turn pure white.
  • Mook Promotion: Quite literally promotes the highest level Cog with Cut the Slack, turning them into an executive with manager bonuses (Can't be fired or sued) and a 1 round lure resistance.
  • Never Bareheaded: According to Jennifer, he absolutely refused to take off his hat in his interview.
  • Non-Standard Game Over: Deadwood is the only attack in the game which sends a Toon out of a battle without making them go sad.
  • Precision F-Strike: The cutscene that plays after his fight gives the only instance of profanity in the entire game.
Chainsaw Consultant: "Ugh... That damned override..."
  • Quiet Cry for Help: Gives constant ones whilst trying to resist the override, asking for the Toons to save him and to defeat the override.
  • Robo Speak: Contrasting pretty much every other Cog in the game, the override fully embraces a very stilted and robotic way of speech.
Chainsaw Consultant: (activating Revving-Up) "OUTER LAYERS AT RISK. TAKING DEFENSIVE ACTION."
  • Tragic Villain: The Chainsaw Consultant wishes he never went to work for the Chairman due to a personality override program that turns him into a monster.
  • Use Their Own Weapon Against Them: Attempting to fire a Cog causes the Chainsaw Consultant to use Offboarding, where instead of safely removing the Cog from the battle, he fires the Cog directly at the Toon who used the Pink Slip.
  • We Have Reserves: To the override, every employee is completely expendable, including the ones that it promotes, as more just keep coming through the door even after their colleagues get fired.

    Chief Executive Officer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3622.png
Lavish Leader

"Caddie, I'll need my driver!"

The Chief Executive Officer (real name: Craig Edgar Oilcan) is the head of the Bossbot Department of C.O.G.S. Inc., secluded inside the Bossbot Clubhouse in Acorn Acres' Bossbot HQ.

  • Punny Name: His real name, Craig Edgar Oilcan, uses the same initials as his position, C.E.O.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Upon defeating The Directors, he will re-enter the room, and will immediately back out after seeing that they've been destroyed.
"Well, it's been nice seeing you Toons, but uh, I gotta go! The banquet, it uh, might be in jeopardy!"
  • Turns Red: Twice during his fight. Once he's at 50% HP, he will disable one of the treat conveyors and begin to attack faster and harder; He does this again when he reaches 25% HP, attacking nearly twice as fast.

Boardbots

    Land Acquisition Architect

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3612.png
Defiant Draftsman

"But folks only seem to care about pollution this, zonin' law that! Always try'na halt the advance of progress!"

The Land Acquisition Architect (real name: Alton S. Crow) is the boss of the Barnacle Boatyard taskline. He is a Level 7 Boardbot Manager with 275 Health.

    Deep Diver

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2866.png
Sidewalk Swimmer

"Why don't I stem the tide for a bit?"
The Deep Diver (real name: Mary Anna) is a Regional Manager in Barnacle Boatyard, found roaming in the streets. She is a Level 7 Boardbot Manager with 400 health.
  • Acrofatic: Despite her large build, she has no problems leaping out of the water and backflipping whenever she emerges from a Dive.
  • Creepy Old-Fashioned Diving Suit: While not exactly creepy, she does look imposing in it.
  • Even Evil Has Standards: Even though she works for a huge corporation that seeks to disrupt Toons' fun way of life, she does care about the environment, and is at odds with Treekiller because of his disregard for it.
    • In one of the Twitter comics, she is shown having a pep talk with Rainmaker… only for that to be ruined by a Duck Toon mocking the latter.
  • Marathon Boss: Her cheat, Dive, involves her diving into the ground thus making it so you cannot attack her.note  She then promotes an available Cog to a Level 7 Executive. To get her out, you have to take out said Cog.note  Thing is, Toons are also subjected to drowning at the end of every round, taking 5 damage each, so make sure one of your teammates is stacked on Toon Up.
    • Once the Executive is defeatednote , Deep Diver jumps out and lands so hard all Toons are slammed with 7 damage each!

    Gatekeeper

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3624_4.png
Vainglorious Vanguard

"Thine attacks art a mere annoyance. A waste of mine own time."
The Gatekeeper (real name: Holly Grayelle) is a regional manager in Ye Olde Toontowne, found roaming the streets. She is a Level 10 Boardbot Manager with 1300 health.
  • Status Buff: Thanks to her cheats, Gatekeeper takes 75% less damage until a Cog is destroyed, thus temporarily upping Gag damage in a round.
  • Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe: Invoked, as she is a Cog modeled after a knight.

    The Directors

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2704.png

"It's important to stay adequately oiled when defeating Toons."
Derrick Hand
"Yer farm looks drained."
Director of Land Development
"I'm giving you an offer you can't refuse."
Director of Public Affairs

  • The Artifact: The Director of Land Development and Director of Public Affairs' names are still based on their weaker counterpart's old names, before they were overhauled.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Originally, Derrick Hand was just a Palette Swap of his weaker counterpart, while the other two were skelecogs.
  • Extra Turn: The Director of Public Affairs doesn't start with an extra attack, but can gain extra attacks if his Multi-Level Marketing cheat activates, which will always be Glower Power. This cheat can be prevented by simply attacking him during his Disruptive Advertisement.
  • Final Boss: They currently serve this role.
  • Multiple Life Bars: Being a 2.0 cog, Derrick Hand will turn into a skelecog upon being defeated, dealing 50% more damage but having only half of his health.
  • Punny Name: Dana S. Charme, Director of Public Affairs, is intended to charm the toons out of their land.
  • Upgraded Boss: All 3 of them are based off of previous taskline managers you fought before:
    • Derrick Hand is of course an upgraded version of Derrick Man from Toontown Central.
    • The Director of Land Development is an upgraded version of the Land Acquisition Architect from Barnacle Boatyard.
    • The Director of Public Affairs is an upgraded version of the Public Relations Representative from Ye Olde Toontown.

    Jennifer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2715.png

"Oh YEAH? Well at least I have a boss!"

Jennifer Jackson is the secretary of the Boardbot department. She is semi-frequently shown across the comics and is the interviewer of the 1.3. Regional Managers. Currently, Jennifer does not appear in-game due to Boardbot HQ not being released.

  • Alliterative Name: Her username on Cogs.Ink is jacksonjennifer, which would make "Jackson" her surname.
  • Like Is, Like, a Comma: She, like, does speak like this sometimes.
  • Odd Name Out: Like the other secretaries, Jennifer is referred to by her real name.
  • Ship Tease: She and Saul G. Cog are shown to be flirtatious with each other. This is taken further in one Twitter comic, where they both have a playful No, You Hang Up First banter.
    • In "A Meeting With Two Minds", Pacesetter managed to charm her with just a few words that flaunt his ego.

    Chief Operating Officer

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3614.png

"I don't have any other appointments today, so feel free to stick around while I fill out some forms."
The Chief Operating Officer (real name: Thomas Saggs) is the head of the Boardbot department at C.O.G.S. Inc., located at Boardbot HQ. However, since Boardbot HQ has not yet been released, he only makes appearances in-game during April Toons, where Boardbot HQ goes under the guise Boredbot HQ.
  • Character Development: Subtle, but it's there; as the years go by, the C.O.O. begins to become more comfortable around the Toons who come to visit him every April Toons. This is reflected in the shorter pauses in between conversations, and his rewards for "beating" him start to become more thoughtful. For comparison, his rewards during 2020 and 2021 were literally just stuff he found around his office, while the reward in 2023 is a sweater he himself hand-knitted.
  • Companion Cube: He has exactly 7 plants in and out of his office that he treats as if they were alive, complete with individual names and personalities.
  • Hidden Depths: Knits in his spare time, having been taught by Mouthpiece.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: He gets legitimately PISSED when he sees that the Chairman is trying to hire Crystalline, and outright HOPES that she gets a Fruit Pie thrown at her.
  • Token Good Teammate: So far, he is the only Cog that the Toons encounter without fighting. He even goes out of his way to save the Toons from being spotted by the Dividend King during the 2023 MAYpril Toons event.
  • Zero-Effort Boss: His yearly "fight" is essentially just waiting for around 20 minutes.

    The Chairman

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3615_6.png

"You're fired."

The leader of all of Cogs himself. The Chairman (real name: Robert Cyger) is the head of the company and the brother of the C.O.O.

  • Disowned Parent: The Chairman really doesn't like his parents, scribbling out their names on his build certificate and changing his last name from Saggs to Cyger.
  • Mister Big: He's the Suit that every Cog answers to, yet is no bigger than a Short Change.
  • The Napoleon: For a suit so small, he seems to have quite the temper. His brother even mentions that he attended classes (presumably anger management ones) in The Day of Reckoning comic.
  • The Unfought: Currently can’t be fought.

Contractors

    Count Erclaim

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2705.png

"Using leftover metal, all that I could save... I, Count Erclaim, am back from the grave!"
Count Vladimir Erclaim is the most recurring contractor hired by C.O.G.S. Inc., most often appearing during halloween to wreak havoc upon the Brrrgh.

In his last appearance, he was divided into tiers depending on the strength of the Toons fighting him in his abode, while on the street, it was dependant on which playground he was encountered in. At his highest, he was a Level 20 v2.0. Lawbot Manager with 1476 normal health and 1107 skelecog health in his abode, while on the street, he had 2656 normal health and 1992 skelecog health.

As of Halloween 2022, Count Erclaim's contract has not been renewed due to the recent hiring of the permanent regional managers.

  • Adaptational Attractiveness: He's noticeably much more attractive in the webcomicsnote .
  • Back from the Dead:
    • In terms of Story, Erclaim was at one point reported to be deceased, with Sads even referencing this at one point. However, with his 2020 reiteration, he proclaims to have come back from the grave.
    • In-game, Erclaim is capable of reviving defeated or sacrificed Cogs as skelecogs, promoting them to an executive and up one level.
  • Odd Name Out: Is addressed by his last name instead of a suit name.
  • Punny Name: Count Erclaim, counterclaim.
  • Rhymes on a Dime: Does this quite frequently, down to ordering a pizza while rhyming and protesting the refusal to renew his contract in rhyme. However, he is prone to dropping it in shorter sentences.

    Witness Stand-In

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2711.jpeg

"I have worked tirelessly, day and night, to get this department in order. I cannot stand idly by and watch my efforts crumble before me!"

The Witness Stand-In (real name: Atticus Wing) was a Level 50 Lawbot Manager and the temporary replacement for the Chief Justice during Operation: Break the Law. His fight played nearly identical to the Chief Justice's, with only minor visual changes. However, if 4 Toons were to enter into the battle and fill up every Jury seat, a special fight would occur against him. In this fight, he had 4245 health in a more traditional battle compared to the real time round that would normally occur.

In the conclusion of Break the Law, the Witness Stand-in was pronounced dead (unable to be remanufactured after his defeat), shocking Suit society at large due to him being the first permanent casualty of a Suit.

  • Deadpan Snarker: Quite a bit of his dialogue has him talk about the tediousness of his job and the incompetence of his predecessor.
Witness Stand-In: "The Chairman has appointed me in place of an actual judge. I went to university for corporate law, not this..."
  • Killed Off for Real: He was injured so badly he was unable to be remanufactured, leading to the first permanent death of a Cog in the storyline.
  • Meet the New Boss: His fight was effectively a reskin of the Chief Justice. This is justified, since Atticus was hired to temporarily fill the space whilst C.O.G.S. was looking for someone to permanently replace the CJ. He even mentions how he was instructed "to follow the same, repetitive set of protocols" once defeated via normal means.
  • The Paralyzer: One of his cheats, Cease and Desist, would cause everything to miss for the next round, including SOS cardsnote  and Unites.
  • Rage Breaking Point: If his secret fight was activated, he would proclaim how he's fed up at how the Toons have made a mockery of both the company, as well as his family.
  • What the Hell, Hero?: One of his unique lines for using Guilt Trip had him ask "Have you ever considered how you make US feel?"

    Redd "Heir" Wing

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2712.png

"Your persistence awes me. You come back, again and again, to make sure I stay down."

    Sads the Skelecog

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2713.png

"heya."

Yeah, this is exactly what you think it is. Sads was a Level 1 Lawbot Manager that could only be fought during April Toons and Halloween events. As of MAYpril Toons 2023, it has been confirmed that he is never coming back, and has been completely retconned. invoked

  • Damage Over Time: Unlike a majority of Cogs who do this, Sads' DoT doesn't depend on rounds, but actual time spent in the gag selection screen, meaning for it to not rack up, the Toons would need to pick a gag and FAST.
  • Demoted to Extra: Went from being an event boss, to a rare cameo on the trolly race game.
  • Fourth-Wall Observer: True to his inspiration, Sads talked about many timelines in his fights, specifically mentioning how in spite of the omega timeline collapsing, everyone was brought back.
  • Hurl It into the Sun: His ultimate fate before being ousted from canon, as given to him by Count Erfit.
  • Ret-Gone: Previously, Sads was undoubtedly canon, as both Count Erclaim and Redd's stories intertwined with his. However, as of Count Erfit throwing him into the sun, Sads has been confirmed to be completely removed from the canon.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: Sads' battle was this to Sans'. For starters, his encounter rate was calculated by how many Cogs the group had killed (mirroring how Sans' fight only occurred if the player deliberately killed everything in their path). Following this, he attacked before the Toons do on every round (mirroring how Sans gets the first attack in his fight), had his 1 damage significantly boosted by a damage over time effect (mirroring Sans' karma), put gears on the menu which would damage a Toon if their mouse hovered over it (mirroring Sans' bones in the menu) and had his own monologue throughout the fight where he mentions previous timelines and tries to encourage the Toons to turn back before they reach their ending.

    Count Erfit

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2706.png

"Welcome to the gym bro! Join in on the groove... I hope you warmed up because it's time to get up and move!"
Count Chad Atlas Erfit is the third cousin twice removed of Count Erclaim, and contractor during April Toons 2022, found in the same spot that Erclaim had been stationed in.

In his last appearance, he was divided into tiers. At tier 6, he was a Level 20 v2.0. Cashbot Manager with 7777 health during phase 1, and 15777 during phase 2.

  • The Big Guy: He even has a unique body model to show just how strong he is!
  • Hurl It into the Sun: Was on the giving end of this to Sads, removing him from the Corporate Clash canon.
  • Odd Name Out: Like Erclaim, he is referred to by his last name.
  • Punny Name: Two for the price of one! Not only is he named after the act of counterfeitting, the fit part of his name refers to his physique.
  • Rhymes on a Dime: Again, like Erclaim, he speaks mostly in rhyme. Also like Erclaim, he drops it during shorter sentences.

    High Roller

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_3616.png
Capricious Compere
Phase 3

Your Quackjesty High Roller is a Level 100 Cashbot Manager with 999 health during phase 1, and 44444 health during phase 3. He is a fusion of the Duck Shuffler and the Major Player as well as the host of High Roller's High Roller, an event only available during April Toons, and is located at The Musical Master of Melody alongside the Major Player.

  • Black Speech: Asks an incomprehensible question in the April Two-ns comic. The answer was Flunkies, according to Erfit.
  • Canon Discontinuity: Right before the fight, there is a disclaimer stating that the fight is not canon. He even takes advantage of this in one of his trivia questions, asking if Suits can canonically fuse to create new, more powerful suits.
  • Cool Shades: Inherits these from Major Player, one half of him.
  • Damage-Sponge Boss: C'mon, you already read his phase 3 health up there. Doesn't help that the silhouettes make it so he takes significantly less damage while they're still alive.
  • Fusion Dance: Is the result of one from Buck Ruffler the Duck Shuffler and Dave Brubot the Major Player.
  • Game Show Host: Is the host of High Roller's High Roller, as stated above.
  • Graceful Loser: Besides a single sentence Freak Out, he actually takes his loss surprisingly well.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Is able to damage himself in Phase 3 with the dice roll or the red silhouette. He also wins his own free cruise at the end of the fight.
  • Laughing at Your Own Jokes: Does this after asking if Rocky had a ruff day, saying he's hilarious.
  • Laughing Mad: Breaks out into laughter in the middle of his sentences quite a few times.
High Roller: "Pop a look for the camera ffhow, tell me haHAHAHAhow much ya know!"
    • There's also that one voice clip which plays every time he starts a new game.
  • Marathon Boss: Due to phases 1 and 3 taking quite a while to defeat, High Roller is expected to take about an hour to complete.
  • Pop Quiz: One of the possible outcomes to his Game Time cheat is this, asking questions that range from common knowledge, trick questions, and even nonsensical ones.
  • Perpetual Smiler: He's always smiling for the camera with his lovely piano teeth!
  • Shell Game: A possible outcome to his Game Time cheat, forcing you to keep track of the Flunky that talked and attack that one.
  • Speech Impediment: Despite no longer having fangs in his bill, the High Roller still has a lisp. However, unlike the Duck Shuffler, he pronounces his s's as ff's, not th's. He does lose this on several occasions, however.
  • Suddenly Voiced: His first sentence actually DOES have a proper voice clip.
  • Summon Backup Dancers: High Roller summons the Mr. Hollywoods of the Brubot Quartet for his second phase, plucked straight from Major Player's fight.
  • Toothy Bird: Inherits the Major Player's piano teeth alongside the Duck Shuffler's bill.

Miscellaneous

    Chief Justice

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/img_2710.png

"It brings me great pleasure to tell you, Bob, that you have been an awful boss and an even worse leader. I hand in my resignation with a clear conscience."

The Chief Justice (real name: John Robolts) was the original head of the Lawbots. However, his focus on criminal law instead of corporate law led to his job being put in jeopardy, and him temporarily being replaced by the Witness Stand-In during Operation: Break the Law. He has since been fully replaced by the Chief Legal Officer as of the Lawbot revamp.

  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Retires right before the Chairman can fire him, thus allowing him to keep his pension.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Delivers one in The Day of Reckoning towards the Chairman after handing in his resignation letter. In it, he tells Robert that he should've known better than to hire him as the head of the legal department due to him being a law student focusing on criminal law, that the robot resources department was even more incompetent than himself, and how Robert was an idiot and a poor leader for not trying to fire him sooner in spite of him running a governmental law office inside a corporation for years.
