The cast of The World God Only Knows deals with beings in three different realms: Heaven, Hell and Earth. Devils that were imprisoned in Hell by six goddesses are tracked down by the more ethical devils that watch over them in the present with the assistance of a human partner for each devil on the recapturing squad. As the escaped devils hide in human souls, they must be driven out by filling the hearts of the possessed, an informal group that are referred to as conquests by the main character.
Due to various size issues the original page had, it has been split into four groups: The main character and his three closest allies, the girls whose hearts he captured, the supernatural denizens of the series and finally the supporting cast, which is largely composed of colleagues, classmates and family members.
